Burf2000 Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 (edited) Hey there, bit of a lego fan, we were featured in the Mirror last year as my girlfriend proposed to me at Legoland. I have a rather large lego collection, probably 400 built models and well 500kg of loose. At the moment i mainly build Lego models (instead of my own creations) and spend far too much time sorting the lego out. I really like mindstorms (old rcx, control lab and new stuff) technic, star wars and pirates. Erm anything else I should say? Edited July 9, 2009 by burf2000 Quote
Tom Bricks Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Welcome to Eurobricks, I saw the proposal thing last year. Have fun on Eurobricks and good luck sorting. Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Welcome...Once in a great while the mood to sort actually strikes me...mostly its just an annoying chore! Sounds like you have a LOT of Lego. Can't wait to see some pictures of your collection and your creations. Pirates rule by the way! Quote
Burf2000 Posted July 9, 2009 Author Posted July 9, 2009 Thanks for the welcome, I love pirate ships I think most from the collection. I have 3 of the big ones and 2 of the smaller ones. Also have the new castle one (trolls), viking and harry potter one. looks a nice display and i think i take a picture later and put it on here Quote
Burf2000 Posted July 10, 2009 Author Posted July 10, 2009 Hard question Sorting can be relaxing and switches my brain off from work, it also can be a mass operation ( i have 4 big tower full of 4 draw, plus 5 more tower systems with 10 draws, plus 12 tool mate things plus many trays etc so find the right place to put things is very hard) Building is great fun but i seem to do it at such speed sometime i miss the fun, at xmas i got like 10 sets and had built them all by the end of the day. its also a pain finding space to put the model (never break them up) and where the parts are lol I am in the proceed of working out a sorting system lol but currently cant get all the lego in the house at one time Quote
