The Legonater Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 I've found a crisper setting on my camera, which has really helped with the next wave. But anyways, the real reason for the green armour: Quote
Fives Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 (edited) Another groaner by me : Is that an orange droid body! Where is that from!?! Also, here is another from me: Palpatine: Um, Vader... You dropped your ice cream. Vader: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Edited February 22, 2011 by Fives Quote
JimBee Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Is that an orange droid body! Where is that from!?! Lego Mars Mission. I have a teal and a lime green one, too. More good ones. Cloney, seeing all of those strips with Shaak Ti, Aayla Secura, and the other new Jedi makes me want them so bad! Off to BL... Quote

Fallenangel Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011  * *(Fingah bang bang... bangbangbang...) But anyways, the real reason for the green armour: Heh. What's funny is that the stormtrooper helmets' lenses were green, so everything really did look green from the inside - I think Mark Hamill mentioned it in the "Making of" book. Quote
Jedd the Jedi Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 (edited) These latest few are all brilliant! Fives, that really got me - Vader's pose especially is genius. A good source of humour is to take things to either extreme, ridiculous or mundane - and mundane can be really funny as you've proven. Praiter, Happy Tree Friends was all the rage when I was in the equivalent of elementary school - I saw that stuff when I was eleven, and still haven't recovered yet. The Scarface one is great - finally he puts the scar to intimidating good use! It's weird how the deformed bug-eyed figures, especially Anakin, seem to be able to double for Pacino, Schwarzenegger or, on a bad day, even Clint Eastwood. I saw a Conan the Barbarian custom minifig using this face, and it was downright perfect. And Legonater, you've once more proven that you have a knack for "reaction shot"-type gags - the expressions are all perfect here! I'm loving the vibe on this thread, it's a lot of fun. In an effort to prove that I understand a little about the PT and the Clone Wars, here's the latest one. Edited February 23, 2011 by Jedd the Jedi Quote

Aethersprite Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Good one Jedd! I remember that scene in Episode III clearly, with Obi-Wan in CW Anakin's position of course. As for Praiter... Fried Calamari, anyone? Quote
Peanuts Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Great one, Legonator, really loved it. Also pretty funny, Jedd and Yed. I love TCW and "It's a trap" jokes And here's another one of me: Quote
Brickdoctor Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Very funny, everyone, especially Luxor V's. Quote
Jedd the Jedi Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 (edited) Hahhah I like that, Peanuts! The opportunities for playing with the concept of "clones" are endless, truly endless Luxor V, excellent - you are right, rap music will confound even poor Threepio. The Legonater Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Briliant LuxerV- I absolutly love it. After finally getting the Clone BP I decided to show my version of the gag Cloney stole also thought of. Quote
Clone OPatra Posted February 23, 2011 Author Posted February 23, 2011 A nice illustration of it Legonater. But are you using a 1x1 cylinder for the Horn company trooper? It's a good way to get the helmet positioned, but it looks a little disconcerting that his head is s skinny. More cross-theme madness… Costumes Quote

After finally getting the Clone BP I decided to show my version of the gag Cloney stole also thought of. Took me a second, but I got it. Good one, I like how you manage to position the head. Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Costumes Love. It. Is the joke that the Flitwick actor has played an Ewok before? If yes, good one. Yes Warwick Davies, played Wicket and Flitwick. He also played W. Wald and Griphook, meaning Warwick will soon have the honor of having four of his counter parts turned into Lego characters. Quote
Professor Trelawney Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Haha- The "Gun-Guns" made me laugh Jedd , good one ! Quote

Fallenangel Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Briliant LuxerV- I absolutly love it. It's occurred to me that you might be doing this on purpose. Is it a trademark of some sort? Lots of good ones since yesterday! I borrowed my daughters CW figs for this new one (hope she doesn't find out that I removed the hands from her figures )... [snip] From his expression, it looks like Mace doesn't want any Gamorrean bacon... Quote
