Hinckley Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Hey guys. Here's another one of my new buildings from the Fabuland Train Club layout that CopMike and I brought to BrickWorld this year: Fogo de Chao: A successful Brazilian steakhouse occupies the first floor of this urban building. The owners of the restaurant occupy the floors above. Click here to see full gallery or click any picture. Enjoy and please feel free to leave feedback. Thanks! Quote
gondortoast Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 thats fantastic and really detailed im guessing its cc compatible right? Quote
BlueBard Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 (edited) I'll only say: WOW! I really like how you have separated all the "sections" of the main building just like in the GG and, as allways, the detailed windows on the top Edited June 28, 2009 by BlueBard Quote
Bartram Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Awesome job - it looks really good! Can't wait to see more of your Fabuland buildings. Quote
Shadows Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Beautiful, definitely top notch. I can only imagine it's run by evil cows, to give it that bit of Fabuland Edgeâ„¢ we love so much. One might argue that as a Fabuland creation, it's supposed to be in Other Themes, but you know... maybe this is the time to suggest that Fabuland be moved here. It's town oriented, it's system scale for the most part, it's closer to being Town than anything Town Jr ever did, and it results in creations that are practically on par with the new modular line, as you have shown in this lovely creation. Let's give Fabuland a home in Town. What do you say? At the same time, I really need to catch up on the FBG. Quote

This isn't a Fabuland building. It's CC scale. There are lots of things in the Fabuland Train Club layout. It's not all Fabuland. But it is all being packed up into boxes right now... Quote
Shadows Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 This isn't a Fabuland building. It's CC scale. There are lots of things in the Fabuland Train Club layout. It's not all Fabuland. Most of your FBG buildings aren't strictly Fabuland either, so shush, I'm trying to get Fabuland a better home here. But it is all being packed up into boxes right now... Chin up, it's the beginning of an incredible adventure! And back on topic... taking a look at their menu as I was blogging this, I can't wait for them to finish building the one here, it's on it's way and it looks delicious to a carnivore like me. Quote
Teddy Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 (edited) I really like the architecture on this one. the sand green roundbricks give an interesting color variation. Any particular reason why the pavement is not continued all the way to the right? I can't believe you lacked four dark bley 2x2 tiles? Edited June 29, 2009 by Teddy Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Another gorgous building with such great details. I love these! Quote
Freddie Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Incredibly detailed as ever, Hinckley. But, I have one bit of criticism, and that is the lack of internal details visible through the windows. Right now the building looks recently-abandoned, and adding details, such as curtains, or other interior details, might change that in a positive direction. Quote
GingerBreadKid Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 (edited) This may sound a little weird, but it kind of reminds me of a haunted house, but i do like it. Edited November 20, 2009 by GingerBreadKid Quote
Selander Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 It looks SUPER very nice colour scheme and overall realistic look. Quote
