The Hordesman Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Nice little 1500 MOC, considering the mix of uniforms and medieval armor. :) Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted January 8, 2006 Governor Posted January 8, 2006 The DragonTankard Tavern reminds me of a 1986 video game (on Sega Master System) called Golden Axe Warrior. Was that the same game as Golden Axe which also appeared in the arcades then eventually PC and other computer systems? I used to love that game... Quote

Governor Mister Phes Posted January 8, 2006 Governor Posted January 8, 2006 No definitely not! Where you been anyway? I think I asked you that once in PM but due to reasons involving recovery from intoxcation I don't recall exactly who I asked. Quote

Wasn't me... my motherboard fried and I also am a man of limited cash flow... God Bless, Nathan Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted January 8, 2006 Governor Posted January 8, 2006 That reminds I've got to claim a hard disk on warranty! I spent 2 weeks trying to work out was wrong with my computer because this stupid thing kept spontaneously freezing. Turned out it was the hard disk but none of the diagnostic software could detect any faults with it so it was a process of trial and error before I figured out what was wrong was wrong with it. Quote
Dreamweb Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Was that the same game as Golden Axe which also appeared in the arcades then eventually PC and other computer systems? I used to love that game... Nope, its action was kinda located in the same universe as Golden Axe but IMO it was much better - a mixture of arcade, adventure and maybe a little RPG. And unlike other Golden Axe games it was released on Sega Master System only (but nowadays you can emulate it on your PC). Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted January 9, 2006 Governor Posted January 9, 2006 Except my Sega emulator got deleted when I had to delete my hard disk's primary partition quite unexpectedly... :'( Quote

Evil Willy Posted January 10, 2006 Author Posted January 10, 2006 No I wont be able to build catles because they will look like some new steel crap...But I have mostly old grey at my house anyways its all I get when I buy off bricklink of ebay :D I may be 14 but I know my stuff ;) Quote
Norro Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Impressive... of course if you have all ready gotten rid of your castle figs that old grey could always find its way to me. God Bless, Nathan Quote
Evil Willy Posted January 10, 2006 Author Posted January 10, 2006 OR no norro..Sorry, but I make pirate MOC's or anything else I need Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted January 11, 2006 Governor Posted January 11, 2006 Grey is still used in Pirate MOCs because it looks like stone and is good for giving the stone wall appearance. "Well duh" Mr Norro will say (I would if I was him) "That's why its commonly used in Castle". I think my point is Mr Norro grey bricks and be as valuable to the pirate theme as they are in the Castle theme. PS... :D :oo |-D :oD Quote
