Alrighty, here are the rules...

Just post a castle MOC or a custom castle minifig, with a picture of it, and write a description or a name for it, if you have any.

Come and have a look and browse through the creations people have posted in this topic and then post a review for them if you like. You can post a review even if you don't have any MOCs to post aswell, but it would be nice if you had something to post, no matter how small or bad you think it is.

Anyway, heres my first MOC for you all to review (if you want to. You can just post your MOC and then leave, but that wouldn't be very nice) :

Dragon:

A hole lays in the wall of Venolia, where a dragon occasionaly comes to poke his head through and see the town. He isn't very evil, the peasants just have to watch out for the fire he breathes. As you can see in the picture, the peasants are just walking around about their daily lifesyles, without even noticing the dragon.

He is made mostly (i think completely) from red, yellow, grey, white and black bricks. The mouth can open up to expose his tongue and some of his teeth.

Thanks for reading all this boring talk. Post reviews, post MOCs and have fun!

Currently I'm busy with my second castle MOC but I ran out of bricks so I'll need to buy some new bricks. Anyways, my only online castle MOC is the Black Knight church.

It's a small church in the coastal city of Dorstadt. You can confess your sins to the local Druid or you can praise the Dragon God Norbert. In the far future when I might have the funds I want to build the complete city. A man can only dream :( .

Seems like fun. I'm game.

This is a pretraria I made last year for the CCC. It fires 1x1 minifig heads approx 2.5 metres. I've always had a fondness for pretrarias as a seige machine, as they are undoubtedly one of the more silly devices arround. There is some question as to whether such a machine has ever been used in medieval warfare. Still, they look cool, and that's what really counts.

I somehow missed this one then... nice work and you are right about looks being the most important... it is a model after all ; )

God Bless,

Since I don't build castle or have a digital image input device I guess I'll do a review...

This is one of those MOCs which looks like it could be an actual LEGO set, or a set LEGO would have made in the past before they lost the ability to design good sets. For its size it comes with a goodly amount of mini-figures and horses although it would seem to be lacking on weaponary. It looks as though it needs a few more swords and maybe a cross bow.

The pretraria itself is very eccomically designed and is an interesting alternative to the catapult. Just how many LEGO catapults are there now? Too many! Its definitely time for new LEGO siege weapons! What the picture doesn't tell me is if the pretraria is functional. It would be an interesting feature if it actually flung projectiles at the enemy. If it did, it would also be nice to include such projectiles.

Overall this would make a fine LEGO set and LEGO should seriously consider employing Mr Blueandwhite to continue their Castle theme. I'll give it 4 out of 5 stars.
