E3 Sony stuff

Don'T know if anyone follows, but some interesting stuff coming out for Sony systems at the upcoming E3.

Rumour that Sony will have in their words, "megaton" announcement, after their last big announcement was just a ps2 price cut i doubt it will be much.

Also rumoured is Sony will reveal a ps3 slim, which isn't a rumour, i mean if you have a brain, psx slim, ps2 slim, psp slim, ps3 slim is inevitable.

Also rumoured is the new UMDless PSPGO.

So what are you looking forward to seeing, is looking forward to more clips on Ratchet and Clank a crack in time, Star Wars Republic heroes, and Lego Indi 2.

Sony is loosing $40 American on every console they sell, price drop is unlikely until they sell the slim.

FF stuff will no doubt be shown during E3.

Along the lines of a cheaper PS3, I had heard that there may be a stripped down PS3 in the works that is only capable of playing the games vs. all the multimedia stuff the current version can do.

Yeah the so called ps4 which wont have blu-ray, the rest of the media, and a huge hdd which you use to download games due in 2010.

Except Ratchet Quest for Booty was 4 levels, and the US version was i believe 2.6gig download, the EU was 3.2gigs, and that's 720p resolution.

In order to be any good they would have to sell it everywhere, speaking as someone who lives in Australia and our broadband network has been in the hands of telstra (imagine microsoft as a telecommunications company) and the knuckle dragging neandertals who control it have left the whole system rotting and a joke.

I have 160gigs adsl1 1.5mbs for $132 Aussie and im one of the lucky ones, most users here have their ps3 connected via wifi, if sony even could get a full game compressed for download 10gigs, that is more than what most wifi users have here in a month.

Same as the rumoured psphone, which is fine, except the sales would cut into sony Ericsson's.

BTW guys, I got a PS3 given to me on release date, not only as my birthday present but my brother's as well.

That's how I sorted the costs. Besides, I buy new controllers and games all the time with my own money!

Don't worry, I still have enough money for Lego :wink:

Instead of having a thread about one single company, why not have it be a general thread with stuff from Microsoft and Nintendo as well? Also FF XIII Does look pretty good.
