Captain Blackmoor Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 No worries about that, I'm sure it will be moved soon. I really like your custom flag! How did you painted it? By me the colours leak out through the cloth, making the flag blurry. The lines are perfectly sharp, the edges are a bit tatty but that's not a big deal. I'd love to see this army expanding with drummers and more flags. Great job! Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Are they different from normal markers? Since I've tried with common markers and after a few days the colours were fading and spreading out across my flag. I use flags from paper now (the one from my signature), you can make perfect sharp figures on the computer, and it is easy applying it to LEGO flagpoles by making small holes in it. But I shall give it a shot, thanks! Quote
Captain Cavinano Posted May 30, 2009 Author Posted May 30, 2009 (edited) 100% cotton cloth + whiteboard markers And you should draw the outline(use thinner pen with same colour) of the area you want to paint first. Edited May 30, 2009 by Captain Cavinano Quote
alexandertam Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Nice maybe you can make a regiment colour now to match the union jack. Quote
Joey Lock Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Over the Hills and O'er the Main, To Flanders, Portugal and Spain, King George commands and we'll obey Over the Hills and far away. I really really love the flag mate! Glad we have a growing British ground army! Soon we will rule the ground and the seas! Quote
Zorro Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Yes, the flag is nice. The setup also. But my army is bigger Quote

Admiral Croissant Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 I like that flag! I've tried it myself a few times and every time it became a big mess. The lines were to thick or they spread across the flag (like Blackmoor said) I will try it your way now, I hope it will work Quote
