Sir Wellington Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Please note: I based this game off the original idea and game by Mister Phes. Hello all, This game is called "The Imperial Wars", It is the late 18th century and early 19th century in a Lego world. You all own Empires the size of the moon. Now it's time to go to war to prove your Lego Empire's strength. How to play: To play the game all you have to do is post pretty pictures of armies and post sentences. Once you fill out the form for your empire you can: ~Start alliances with other empires ~Attack other Empires ~Move your armies and navies and etc. Attacking on Land or Sea: To attack anybody you have to know who you're attacking. Simply, to figure out if you attack someone if you win well: I. If you outnumber your enemy greatly II. The armies you send consist of great offensive regiments. III. You send atleast 20 cannons, then you know you'll blast the enemy away Once somebody attacks or is attacked, the troops they lost cannot re-join the army. The only way you can gain land is when your enemy agree's to surrender, then you negotiate with your enemy for land. Basicly if your confused on attacking someone here's an example: Kinzcove says: I am sending my artillary and cavalry to attack Bonaparte. Here are some rules: ~If you loose your full army your out of the game. ~You cannot bring troops back to life. ~Be nice. ~Be logical. ~Do not argue over silly things. To sign up for the game, fill out the form below. Country Name: How many troops do you have: How many ships do you have: Now enjoy, I hope you all love this game, because I can't wait for people to join. Now here's my country's information: Country Name: Massepiequa I will post a picture of my army and navy soon. How many troops do you have: 52 How many ships do you have: 1 (The Brickbeards Bounty) ~Kinzcove

Joey Lock Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 It's not super official, it's just a game I started here. Thanks for signing up. Nice Game, This is proberbly gonna get moved the the Lego Wargames section. If we all have equal empires bigger than earth, Why fight?
SlyOwl Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I'm a bit confused as to the rules - how does one determine the outcome of a battle? I have 10000000 troops and 10000 ships. Bit unfair, surely? You'll need some sort of mechanism to ensure that the armies are of equal size/strength, such as points allocation: Each member has 2000 points. A ship is 100 points. Each troop is 2 points. Each cavalry unit is 5 points. A cannon is 15 points. Each ship can carry 10 cannons, and up to 35 men, but needs a minimum of 5 to sail, and 3 men per cannon to fire them. So I think you need to do a bit of clarification on the rules, but it's a good concept And I'll move this to Wargames for the time being.
Sir Wellington Posted May 30, 2009 Author Posted May 30, 2009 (edited) The amount of men you have is based off the amount of Lego Troops you have in reality. Thats why there wouldn't be numbers extremely big like 10,000. The amount of ships is based off the real amount of lego ships you have. Edited July 15, 2009 by Sir Wellington
