74louloute Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 (edited) Sir Hruodland and Durandal : Sir Hruodland (or Roland) was the chief paladin of Charlemagne. His sword, Durandal is said to contain within its golden hilt one tooth of Saint Peter, blood of Saint Basil, hair of Saint Denis, and a piece of the raiment of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Local folklore claims Durendal still exists, preserved in Rocamadour, France. (Wikipedia link : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roland ) Made for Battle Contest 09 on Classic-Castle Hope you like it ! BlueBard Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 A real master technique, 74louloute! It's funny because I've just left studying "La Chanson de Roland" for a few minutes and what's the first thing I saw in EB? Durandal! Quote
