chewie Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Hey, I found this pic of the airport fire truck, it looks as though its in stores somwhere or on S@H for a country or another Brickshelf so go check it out, from the one pic they took, it looks pretty cool.. EDIT: This same person also has a pic of the ambulance brickshelf enjoy Quote
Mr. Lego-builder Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 It must a remake. I doubt that the sets are already available... Quote

Governor Mister Phes Posted November 12, 2005 Governor Posted November 12, 2005 Do LEGO airports catch a light frequently enough to warrant LEGO Airport Fire Trucks? Quote
Hobbes Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 It must a remake. I doubt that the sets are already available... Pretty darn good remakes then... Do LEGO airports catch a light frequently enough to warrant LEGO Airport Fire Trucks? The same as cities do. And if not, there's nothing wrong with precautionary measures. And if that, either, it's just a cool looking accessory. Quote
languages Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Well I think they are the real deal...... Quote
Christian Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 They must be real! just take a look at the medics torso, thats an all new one! Quote
snefroe Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 i'll assume they're the real thing. i like the airport fire truck, still i'm dissapointed about the mid section; the technic pieces should have been hinges... the hospital truck, is very nice! i'll buy a few of these! it seems to me that something pops out between the two wheels... MattZitron Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Let's compare. Dude's Airport Firetruck: Lego's: Dude's Ambulance: Lego's: And the verdict is there are slight differences. The ambulance driver's hair is a hat in the guys version, and the stickers on the fire truck are different. Doesn't necessarily mean they're not the real sets. Quote
sam89 Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 I think they're real. Why would the guy go to the touble of making extra stickers (on the ambulence windows)? Both sets look great though. Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Great, another cool set. Ah and I don't have any income for 6 weeks *wacko* (broken wrists are annoying...) Quote

Mr. Lego-builder Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Interesting...now that I think about it, these could be real. But I really wish that there would be solid evidence though. There's not even a contact e-mail on his/her Brickshelf account... Quote
Sting Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Very cool! Someone needs to investigate! Me? No way! Quote
optimus-convoy Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 I just saw both of these plus the new hospital at the lego store (Chicago IL) yesterday (Nov. 11) Unfortunately I did not buy them, nor do I have any photographic evidence. Quote

Are you kidding me?! :oD I can't believe this! Did you see the prices of them? I really hope that they are reasonable! Not to be an inconvience, but would you mind if you took pictures of the box? Thanks and sorry for the outburst, Mr. Lego Bildur Quote
Ickelpete Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 just done a quick search on google and someone is selling these on Ebay Canada they also have some other new sets including the hospital :o Quote

Hobbes Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 just done a quick search on google and someone is selling these on Ebay Canada they also have some other new sets including the hospital :o Found them. Prices are insane. I rather wait another 1 1/2 months... Quote
Christian Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 Thats just so unfair *sing* , first: the prices are a rough 50% lower then the danish ones, next: the sets are out 1 1/2 month before the official releases (in denmark the sets are never released before time. never!) I just had to let it out. Quote
sam89 Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 Wow, the piece counts for all of these sets are great! 148 for the fire Truck, 401 for the plane, and 245 for the helicopter. The helicopter seems to have changed a bit since the preliminary pictures. He's also got: - The new X-Pods - Ferrari F1 Fuel Stop - Ferrari Finish Line - Ferrari 430 Spider Quote
