Hey Hornbricker I have been using these Dark Blue torsos on my Napoleonic troops for my latest creations. Im actually using the airline pilot torsos and just applying decals.

I think it works well, but you'll need a lot of commander, it surely will be hard to find !

I do agree that this is a good torso to use for French troops. But it will be hard to find. I wish you luck!

michaelozzie, welcome to EB! and your MOC already looks great! :pir-classic:

Back on topic now. I personally think that it definetly could not, Looks way to much like an Admiral/Governer for the redcoats.

And you know the British troops actually haveBlue coated Admirals.

I think it would work, but not for the average trooper. It would look good for officers maybe?

I have been using the new torso with my blue coats as their governor. It just didn't make sense to me to have him with the red coats.

How do you put the torsos on sticker paper? I need custom decals!

You can buy full-sheet mailing labels at office supply stores, that's what I use. If you want me to design anything for you just say so. :pir-classic:

I'd like to do a few in the wrap style and copy your Hornblower figure. Then do a bunch of nice looking French Troops.

Here's a follow up question on the Governor torso. It seems a little dressy to me as well to be a common soldier so what if the torso was used to represent French naval officers?

Those are great. Thanks. Let me play around with these and see if I can make them work with the printing, etc. How do you get the printed size correct?

If I can I might like some spanish military! Thanks again

They should print out the right size as is, but if they don't I'll try to figure out why.

Alright. These look like they will be close to the right size. I'll have to grab some of those lable sheets today and then see what I can do. I'll let you know how I am doing and I'll post a picture if I can get one together. Thanks again!

I wouldn't print the wraps on labels if I were you... As of recently, I use a Scotch Double Stick Adhesive Roller, so I can apply the stickyness to only selected parts of a sheet.
