exxtrooper Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Some of my older decals I used for some of my desert troopers, I think these turned out good, working on some kind of camouflage version, maybe later. Feel free to use them, but of course by giving credit The pocket design is not mine, I tried to make a pocket design that matched the gun holster but it didn't work out. Quote
AwesomeStar Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 (edited) Wow. These are really nice. Mind if I use a couple? ~A.S. Edited April 20, 2009 by AwesomeStar Quote
Damien Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 The pocket design is not mine Indeed. The entire holster-harness section which comprises a great part of the decal is blatantly copied from my decals and is being used without my permission. I really, really don't appreciate that. Quote

Oh, so thats where it's from, I found it some of the old files I had on my old computer, i'm really sorry Damien. *cough* Quote
Damien Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 S'all right. Just keep in mind that if you didn't make it and you can't remember where it's from to give credit and ask permission to use it -- you probably shouldn't. And for the record, the German WWII decals occasionally referenced around here as being my work actually aren't. Those decals were made by Will Chapman. Quote

I can see the difference between you and Wills design now. And really nice to see you back online, I guess my birthday wish became real for once So, you have joined EB, thats great, hope to see some of you minifigures and excellent modifications here And this will not happen again, I don't have any old files anymore Quote
Legoking Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 These are some great decals. What software do you use to create these decals because I want to start creating my own decals? LegoKing Quote
AwesomeStar Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 If you have a look around this forum, there's loads of tutorials on making decals and other things to customize your minifigs. The program most customizers use is, I believe, MS Paint, but it differs on personal preference. ~A.S. Quote

Sorry for the confusion. LegoKing Quote

Well, you can't make decals on paint whitout getting them the very pixel look, paint net is what I use. It's a great program, you can make shadows and use many layers, it's a great program and I belive most people us it. Quote
