Darth Legolas Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 God! All of you are making me EXTREMELY nostalgic! Yesterday, because I was looking for a strange compass piece on bricklink, I ended up looking through all of these old Adventurers sets! They bring back so many memories! And now THIS? This is torture! An excellent, excellent torture. Now because of you I'm going to go have to make a giant Adventures-bordering MOC! Curse you Johnny Thunder!!!! Quote
General Armendariz Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 all of these old Adventurers sets! There not That old I have many of them. Anyways awesome MOC! Quote
keetong Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Heaps Cool. You've got heaps of skeletons compared to mem I only have 1. I love how you've used the old adventures wall paintings, they fit perfectley. Unfortuanly I was never able to pick them up, because I was three when they came out. Quote
BlueBard Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 (edited) Nice design I like how you placed the egyptian bricks in the walls and specially Thunder's shooting jump Edited April 19, 2009 by BlueBard Quote
Guss Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Johnny thunder = max payne ? ^^ very nice creation, I agree with Bluebard, the Egyptians bricks are well placed^^ great job! Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 it Sir Dano! I always enjoy Adventurer Desert/Mummy scenes, and this one is fantastic. I really like how you blended the light grey and tan bricks in the tomb. This is something that I don't think many would have tried, but you did so very well adding to the nice detail. The arches look great as well. I had a similar vision a number of years ago with this being the outcome: MORE PICTURES I love your addition of the skeletons, which reminds me of the scene from the movie, Mummy. Very nice. I love the action scene! Quote
Dwarfinator Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Nice design! I like Thunder's pose there. :P Quote
Perterz Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 The wall decorations + it's colorsheme is just wonderfull, looks very intresting. Small scenery with lots of things to discover, great work. Quote

Natman8000 Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 (drooling)mmmmmmmm........ johnny thunder i always liked him not as hardcore as indy but still cool but i digressi like I don't think a great way to make a good introduction to bump and old topic with an immature post. But it was your first, so I think you will be forgiven. Why don't you go make in an intro topic, in the hello my name is forum? Quote
