Bob Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 In order to cut costs due to the economic crisis, this company attempts to save money on water: Here, we see Susan walking to the cooler in hopes of getting water. Oh no! Poor Susan has walked right into a trap! Well, they are saving money on water... Sorry for the blur in the first picture, but I have to hold up the trap door while balancing a good shot with my camera. I'm thinking of adding on to this, making an office below the trap door. That however, is for a later date, as I just built this to show my water cooler. Quote
Eilif Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Great job. An elegant solution for a very common workplace item. Quote
Zorbas Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 That was hilarious! The concept is genious! The unawareness in the first pic, the position Susan takes in the second pic and the upside down cup on the floor in the third! Good job! Quote
AwesomeStar Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Ha! Thats brilliant! What a hilarious concept, and great MOC! ~A.S. Quote

MetroiD Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 "Oh no! Not on my Quarterly Reports!" Oh well, we all pretty much know what they read anyway, don't we Great scene, and very up-to-date too :) What's next, a vig depicting North Korea's satellite sinking in the Sea of Japan? Quote
prateek Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 wont making a hole in the floor be more expensive than water? Quote
Deemo Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 wont making a hole in the floor be more expensive than water? You'd be surprised how expensive lego water is... Great scene, your water cooler is really nice. Quote
legotrainfan Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Great and funny idea! Hilarious scene! I didn't think that bosses would take such measures during the economic crisis. Quote
Skipper 24 Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Hilarious work Bob. The hole in the floor is very sneaky, I bet the receptionist downstairs was surprised . Quote
Bob Posted April 17, 2009 Author Posted April 17, 2009 wont making a hole in the floor be more expensive than water? Thats actually the whole point of the joke. Yes, it's funny to see some unsuspecting person fall down a trap door, but the joke was that with all the money it took to buy that trap door , the boss could have bought enough water to last years. It's also playing on the fact that they just have money to burn. Quote
