SWMAN Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Nice start, but it is a little too boxy and gray for me. The treads also don't look very Star Wars like. Quote
Commander Flash Posted April 11, 2009 Author Posted April 11, 2009 Any color ideas? It is supposed to match the AT-TE, which is mostly grey and a little red on the cockpit. Quote
-JD- Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 A bit more bley would be good and a few patterns on the sides like on the AT-TE (if you have the stickers). Apart from that it looks good so far! Greetings, JD PS: Happy Easter! Quote
keetong Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Loooking pretty good, but try to get some grey tiles to replace the red. Quote
Commander Flash Posted April 12, 2009 Author Posted April 12, 2009 Thanks JD. I don't have any stickers. Wait, so like all grey? Quote
SWMAN Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Thanks JD. I don't have any stickers. Wait, so like all grey? Personally I would add some white and blue and some more red. If you look at the sets that Lego has released recently, they have been pretty colorful. Try adding a little more shape to it. Quote
CommanderFox Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 COOL!!! its Very Nice but I think everyones right that it DOES need more then Red and Grey some stickers from 8014 would liven it up a little to CommanderFox Quote
Commander Flash Posted April 13, 2009 Author Posted April 13, 2009 Like the one on the top? I'm working on the red addition now. Quote
CommanderFox Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Like the one on the top? I'm working on the red addition now. Yeah like the one on the top GREAT i look forward to the NEW addition RED pieces CommanderFox Quote
CommanderFox Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Where red? OH never mind just a thought what about adding a small troop bay inside it that is if it can fit say 4 chairs for clones, then the tank can roll past enemy lines and deploy the troops then the droids are ambushed well troop bays seem to be the New COOL for Lego CommanderFox Quote
Commander Flash Posted April 13, 2009 Author Posted April 13, 2009 While i agree a troop bay would be cool, i do not have enough cool slopy pieces for the side. Quote
CommanderCody77 Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 I think you should put a little bit of red in the side But not counting that, I think it looks pretty good Quote
Commander Flash Posted April 13, 2009 Author Posted April 13, 2009 Im putting the red right where it is the cut out. It will make it look redder Quote
Commander Flash Posted May 9, 2009 Author Posted May 9, 2009 (edited) edit: pics removed - were far too large. If in doubt on how to resize - then follow the link in my signature. Edited May 10, 2009 by KimT Quote
ADHO15 Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 It looks really good, but is there any chance you could retake the pictures so they aren't as blurry? Also, they are really big! Could you resize them? (640 x 480 pixels works well). The red is a great improvement, in my opinion, and the interior is big as well. However, it is a bit plain and could possibly be improved further. The gun on the back is well-designed, but they look a bit round or flat, whereas LEGO guns usually use cones, for example. The bendus look good where they are and the overall look of the tank is very good. Well done! Quote
Commander Flash Posted May 9, 2009 Author Posted May 9, 2009 Thanks. I'll try to get them unblurried Quote
