Scenery is also expsensive - should imagine, having not built any MOCs I haven't had to contend with secenery before, but these recent threads have given me something to ponder for my future MOCs.

The christmas tree and bulk green bricks are both cheap. As are BURPs on Bricklink...

The christmas trees? Christmas trees would never do for pirate MOCs!

Phes! You obviously have not heard of my new project I am starting once this fort is done... (well... because I haven't told anyone yet is probably why!)... I am going to do the first "Northern" "Pirate" (more imperial) base - EVER MADE! (well... at least the first I have seen... and I havent seen much so I'm sorry if this statement is too bold lol).

It will be a small outpost with a few soldiers(winter equipped!) and a legendary explorer with them in command! It will include snow and ice... and maybe even a christmas tree!

The farthest North...

Canada!

It would be a port in Northern Quebec or basically anywhere on the East Coast of Canada during winter.

Although I won't make it a real world thing... this is what the climate would be like! Because it would be on the ocean the water wouldnt all be frozen...

Nova Scotia would be a great example of where this will be!

I am also going to make a legendary Explorer who makes this fort his home. He can leap the Atlantic in a single bound! (Which means he can leap the Pacific in a little under two... as long as he makes a stop off in Hawaii...)

Make it Prince Edward Island!

Make it Prince Edward Island!

Make it Prince Edward Island!

I like the idea. Don't forget to expand by having a dog sled team for when the waters freeze or if a boat get caught in an ice drift. It might also be cool to have some Viking ruins or weapons as they were in this area.

Phes, Prince Edward Island is the smallest of the Canadian Provinces. I do not know if anything Pirate-related has happened there though! I think SuvieD perhaps lives on PEI which is why he is so eager for my Northern Post to be built there!

So no other reason than Suvie Duvie lives there? Well in that case let there be a new sub-theme called the Prince Edward Islanders.

The Prince Edward Islands are also two small islands in the sub-antarctic Indian Ocean that are politically part of South Africa.

Being home to Anne of Green Gables isn't anything to be proud of. In fact I wouldn't even want to admit to that. What's more boring than Anne of Green Gables? Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel!!! And I'll go on a hunch that Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story is just as bad...

As for the LEGO Christmas trees, are you referring to those special sets that used to be available where the object was to actually build a Christmas tree from scratch?

AOGG ie an easy reference, and most people can picture it...

This is the Christmas tree...

I remember Anne of Green Gables because it was so horrible...

But this christmas tree looks nice!

That is a cornerstone of many great MOCs (the pieces that is...)

God Bless You,
