Izzy Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 as I said... my VERY VERY VERY first attempt at a Castle style MOC and my first ever MOC to be posted, and I am very to be doing it so go easy on me. Plus I am using only pieces from when I was a kid, (I've borrowed the box from my parentals) give or take one or two peices from a harry potter set. Here goes... Quote
Tacitus Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 All said and done, it really isn't that bad of a beginning. I completely understand the trepidation of posting a MOC here, so don't worry. I think that the grounds are really nice...the pond area really stands out, as does the wooded area. Actually, I really like the pond area a lot. Probably because of its simplicity in design. I think what you've got to do is create more of a building structure for your blacksmith shop. You've got a great foundation to build upon! Tacitus Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 That's not bad! I acutally like it quite a lot. There are so many details and funny things going on. As mentioned above, the nature part is very nice. I also like the different colours in the blacksmith's wall, the caskets with flowers are a nice idea. The shop is nicely filled with all kinds of armour and weaponry, which I like a lot. I also like the transculent red bar in the barrel of water, make it look like a bar of hot metal. The Keep Out piece looks a bit out of place since there is no roof (yet). Will the next step be the roof? Keep it up! Quote
