Still Raindrop Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 What exactly is the black band that goes around the midsection of the crown knight printed armor piece supposed to be? Is the armor supposed to be segmented, with a huge gap in between? Is it supposed to be some sort of sash? Quote
Sir Dillon Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 For those who don't know what he's talking about: I don't know what that is. The placement and colour makes it appear to be some kind of segment, but to me it looks too big to be a gap in the armour. Maybe it's just decoration of some sort? Is there someone here well educated in the ways of armour that could help us out? Quote
Cavannus Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 I've just looked for random amour pictures on the web and I think this may represent: - either the coat of mail under the iron layer - or a piece of textile between the coat of mail and the amour It might also represent an articulated piece of iron but I don't think so, otherwise the designers would have drawn horizontal lines instead of a black surface.
