Does anyone else find it harder tou build during the spring, or summer? The wheather has finaly became nice enough here to start going outside and doing other outdoor activitys but with that weather i cant find myself sitting down and building or even taking pictures of thing i have together currently. :sceptic: worst of all i just built a very nice shelf in my closet to work in and i havent built anything at all there yet :cry_sad:12387076271_THUMB.jpg

I will build mainly on rainy days during the spring because i spend a lot of time outside and in the summer my house is to hot to do anything at all. Do any of you have the same problem?

My building zone is the loft, so the heat of summer become unbearable on the sunny days anyway  so on those days I relaxe with a cold lager in the garden or go for a walk with an ice lolly. Its cool enough to build on rainy days (which is perfect in some ways). My main building times are spring and autumn as winter and summer are too hot and too cold respectively.

I have to agree with the Tool. But sometimes being outside, and off from school for me at least, give me more time, even considering the weather!

I actually do at least 80% of my MOC building during the summer months. As a student, the summer is the main period when I have a lot of time for it.

I don't like outdoor activities in general anyway, so the weather doesn't affect the things I do.

I don't think my building habits change much according to the seasons, although I definitely do spend more time outside when it's above freezing.

My building changes more if a month has a bunch of contests or events going on. For example, in March I built way more than I usually do because of the unusually high amount of contests.

My building is sporadic during the week/month, but fairly evenly distributed across the year I think. Holidays obviously provide opportunity for building. I manage to fit in plenty of other activities - although computer gaming has been in the backseat since becoming AFOL. I have played just one PC game since Christmas (Sacred 2 - still playing through it with my first character)! No bad thing I guess, although computer games have their place too.

Even if there is fair weather this summer here in Ireland (not a foregone conclusion - we had rain from mid-June till end-August last summer) - I'll probably have at least one evening free in the week to build Lego.

Well, as much as I can, I try to keep a relatively similar schedule. Granted that's not always possible considering the fact that I love to go on canoe and biking trips.
