New LDD Brick Palette

I just opened Lego Digital Designer - and realized that they updated the brick palette...again!

This is good and bad: good because there are some awesome new pieces available , but bad beacuse most of my models can not be uploaded to the gallery, or purchased . I'm frustrated because just yesterday I was getting a design read to be purchased, and now it won't work. I wish Lego would give a notice a week or so before updating.

Some of the new additions I'm really excited about:

hinge pieces

more plants

more slope pieces

Dissapointments:

some of the rare-color pieces are gone

have you seen the prices

1x4 brick that was 12p is now 22p cheese tiles were 6p are now 15p

every item has gone up by similar extortionate amounts.

i feel they are taking advantage of the fans who use this to order hundreds of pieces at a time

Nope, it doesn't appear they included these pieces - check it out there, there is a lot of new stuff (although you'll probably be blow away by the new prices )

The minifigures are cool

They've added orange mutt hair, a quiver, new heads, short legs, flippers, and Mr. Krab's torso .

AND ICE CREAM!!!!

And some more baseplates.

And a dog.

i think this is new to the pallet but do you know that if you right click and hold on an item or piece it moves arond to give you a small preivew?

GOOD

This is a really great change to the pallette and a massive improvement. A quick look through and I can see all the parts that I have been missing for the last god knows how long. It means rebuilding some of my models but that's no hardahip as I can now build how I wanted in the first place!

BAD

The price increase is rediculous! A built a 4-wide truck based on 4546 Road n Rail maintenance using the old pallette and old pricelist and had uploaded with purchase in mind (some parts were out of stock). Anyway, this original version cost £7.75. I have rebuilt using the new pallette and pricelist and it now costs a whopping £16.58. I make that a 113% price increase! It's not like LDD models were a bargain in the first place. I'll be surprised is they sell any at all now!

They do! I downloaded it just now. Woop time to make my custom speed racer car

thats good except some of my old models wont work upload onto the gallery. but the new pieces out weigh the bad stuff

If the new prices are for real and they're not a glitch, I'd pass this inclusion of parts. Who needs 'em anyway?
