I agree, we need bayonets really badly, by the way the sword looks nice. Edited March 10, 2009 by Broadside Quote

Captain Blackmoor Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 That's awesome! I think this will turn out very good, just like your bayonette! Keep it up! Quote
SlyOwl Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 That Landwehr hat looks great! The 2 swords look pretty similar to the standard cutlass - could they be achieved by trimming the edges down? (and some modification to the handle) Quote
Zorro Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 I love the new Landwehr hat and the swords are fine too! Great work, Andreas. Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted March 12, 2009 Eurobricks Emperor Posted March 12, 2009 The Landwehr Hat is just awesome Andreas! You should go work for TLC as a designer. Quote

woody64 Posted March 13, 2009 Author Posted March 13, 2009 (edited) Please excuse my ignorance, but how did you do that ?And (if I well understand), this website - Shapeways - allow you to order your creations ? Am I right ? By the way, your creations are amazing ! Yes you can order my creations directly from shapeways. They have the right to produce and sell my items. - You only need a login - and you can order via paypal or credit card The items are designed with a 3d cad to fullfill special requirements needed for 3d printing. Shapeways does the 3d printing of these items with ABS or polyamid (nylon) material. By the ways, the new Landwehr hat arrived today. I will provide a picture later on. By the ways that's a picture of the k.k. Nr. 3 Erzherzog Karl, which also exists in Austria as traditional group: http://www.ir3.at Concerning degen and pallasch the principle design is very nearby the original lego one. The pallasch only should be the lined version of the cutlass for all the cavalry units which did use even this design. Andreas Edited March 14, 2009 by woody64 Quote

woody64 Posted March 22, 2009 Author Posted March 22, 2009 (edited) My army is missing some drums ... http://www.shapeways.com/model/22538/drums.html Andreas Edited March 22, 2009 by woody64 Quote
SlyOwl Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 ^ That beret came out wonderfully My army is missing some drums ... So they need 3 hands now! Those drumsticks are nice (similar dimensions to the gearsticks?), and the drum is cool too, although I wonder how the minifig holds it - with one hand, and one drumstick, or by a belt of some kind, with 2 drumsticks? Could be useful for Islanders, too Quote

SlyOwl Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Good point. I still wonder if I better should implement a plate which can be put between feet and torso? What do you think? Like part of a minifig neck bracket, which fits like this? That'd be good, although it could limit its use as a stand-alone drum (does it have an inverse stud on the bottom?). An elastic band would solve the problem of a handle-less drum, whilst allowing for it to be used for Islanders e.t.c. What would be really cool would be if a 2x2 round zebra Islander tile could fit on the top. Quote
woody64 Posted March 27, 2009 Author Posted March 27, 2009 (edited) Like part of a minifig neck bracket, which fits like this? ... What would be really cool would be if a 2x2 round zebra Islander tile could fit on the top. Maybe I have to construct a part which has a plug to attach the drum (like the saddle has). Currently there's no plug on the top and the botom for attaching lego parts. And here's the newest creation (Austrian Infantry Helmet): Edited March 27, 2009 by woody64 Quote
woody64 Posted March 29, 2009 Author Posted March 29, 2009 Recently I added some interesting items for army builders ... Today I checked it against the Funken books. And I think it's now possible to build nearly all regiments shown there for the Napoleonic area. Andreas Quote
woody64 Posted April 10, 2009 Author Posted April 10, 2009 (edited) And here are the printed items (on the left the original sabre): For some pictures in use follow this link: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=27775 Edited April 10, 2009 by woody64 Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Awesome work again! They look absolutely amazing. A pair of drumsticks would be very useful! Great idea. Quote
