Hey all!

I was fiddling around with the loose parts of Graveyard Duel today, and I realized that the black Doc Ock claws have a very cool little hidden ability...

Now they just have to make a brown one for a PROPER peg-leg. ;)

Post comments/criticism here, and feel free to use this in your own MOCs.

Enjoy! :)

He he Bj, good idea.. but i did not know that when one have done something... you have to ask him if you want to do it ;)

I was being polite, TT. ;)

Of course someone can use it without permission, but usually then they credit it to the person. For instance, this thread on Classic-Castle, regarding the penguins (another small creation I thought would serve as a good example). Again, they could simply not do that as well... but then I'd hope that they'd feel just a little bit bad inside. ;) All I was doing was making it fair game.

Yes, I approve! Continue and mass produce them!

I agree, if an idea is not your own then its creator should be cited so you're clearly indicated that you haven't plagiarised someone else's idea - depending upon how much you borrowed from the other person's design.

Design inspirations are also a part of the development process and it can be useful to keep record of all the influences and research used to achieve the final result. That way you can go back and examine it in order to relive the frame of mind you were at the time and to improve upon your future designs.

I was wondering one day if there was any OTHER part that could connect to those Throwbot visors other than Throwbot heads.

I only found one. The minifig skeleton.

(from THIS moc)

Unfortunately, that was the only style of visor that worked with the minifig skeleton, but at least it was the cool visor.

Nice MOC! Which brings up an interesting Q: I was using the Doc Ock hand in a similar way but never took pics...do I credit a later, but public, idea? (I probably would, but just a thought.)

God Bless,

It depends how scrupilous you are Mr Norro. If you're over loaded with scrupils then you credit everyone and everything.

I don't see the connection...if you didn't use someone else's idea why credit it?

God Bless,

Nathan
