JINZONINGEN73 Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 Gallery: http://brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=126042 Laughable, compared to veteran space moc'ers. But it was my first and so far only one. :$ I used one of those Lego Studios support rail beams on the bottom, picturing hundreds of these taking off and landing in zero gravity, merely being "clamped" in a cylindrical docking bay. SuvieD Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 I like it. It may have been a little better with a mountain dew windscreen instead of blue as the lime and other similar color bits. This has a very "clunky" fighter sort of feel to it. With a boxy shape (no wings), four guns and the two small thrusters and one large thruster it just seems made for combat. Not sure I understand the docking system though, does it clamp on or does it get clamped onto? I would think it is clamped onto. Good job. Veteran space builders are overrated. ;) Quote
languages Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 I think its pretty cool....keep up the good work.... Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted October 26, 2005 Author Posted October 26, 2005 I would think it is clamped onto. http://brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1212775 ^^^ yup. The middle spine down the center is just fine for clamps to grab it at 2 or 3 points. If I was a millionaire, I'd make like 20 of'em and construct a docking bay / ship to go with it. It may have been a little better with a mountain dew windscreen I'm one of the biggest suckers for black and trans neon green color schemes, but I also hated the thought of something so low-tech looking giving enemies a view of the pilot / his condition. Maybe a ship with higher technology could afford to flaunt their invulnerability for all to see. I think about things in too much detail sometimes.. :oD Quote

Who whats to fly around in ugly ship? I can understand the thought behind it though. When I get some time I will show of a few of my space pirates and vehicles so you can see what I like to build. Xeokym Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 It needs a gold reflective cockpit cover for total stealth, just like the astronaut's solar-reflective visors...oh wait that's real life :o Neat design :^D Quote
Dino_Bot Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 Its very decent. I like it quite a lot. Its made in the same style my MoCs are made......I NEED SOME AIRTIGHT COCKPITS! Quote
