exxtrooper Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 A sci fi tank I made, wiht a couple custom decals. The only thing that's not original by me is the long turrets, everything else original. Here it is: And wiht some troops ready for attack. And I had to make fuctions. I made more fuctions but i'm to lazy to take pictures right now. Better and bigger pictures here: side view(?) front fuctions Quote
Loganwan Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I like the use of those silly rubber band holders. I have held onto mine in hopes that I could use them at some point. That thing looks pretty mean. I like the short length of the vehicle. It gives it a look of an urban assault vehicle, able to go down the small roads of a town or city. Quote
djo Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 nice sci fi tank. did you use the wheels on purpose? why not using threaded wheels? i guess the function is raising the turrets up, right? nice decals you made there. i love your MOC. awesome. Quote

Yeah, they are actally very useful, I use them alot on trucks and tanks to make a front, and sometimes I cut them glue on a handle, and we have a very nice shield . nice sci fi tank.did you use the wheels on purpose? why not using threaded wheels? Tank you. And the reason I used the RR wheels cause they looked more sci fi and when I used threaded wheels, they only got to big or to small. -Exx Quote
TenorPenny Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I like the use of the big wheels, personally. The thing looks very compact, tough and mean. The gunner is a sweet minifig, as well! Quote
pr0visorak Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I like the minifigs and the tank! They look very good Quote
exxtrooper Posted February 24, 2009 Author Posted February 24, 2009 I like the minifigs and the tank! They look very good Tgose helmets are not my idea but glad you liked them :) Quote
exxtrooper Posted March 1, 2009 Author Posted March 1, 2009 Oh nice I love the lazer!!! Ummmmmm, what laser? Quote
Boom Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 This is really awesome it reminds me of the Centartank from Gears of War 2. It just has two big guns instead of one . I might make a tank myself being inspidered by your use of old Rock Raider wheels. You know I never can think of a way to use them but thanks for the insperation . Quote
AwesomeStar Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Ummmmmm, what laser? Please try and post a wee bit more respectfully. I know you didn't mean it, but someone could have weedled offense out of that comment In response to the question, I think he means the twin long cannons This is a really cool MOC. Mostly for things to be rated cool in my mind, they have to feature caterpillar tracks SOMEWHERE, but this just changed my mind. Good job exxtrooper! -A.S. Quote
Frostbyte Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Hi, I know this post is about 8 years old and there's little to no chance of anyone replying but I've been searching for hours and I'm really desperate now. Where did you get that helmet piece on that minifigure? Quote
