Darth_Legois Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Okay so like last week I had all my Fleshie luke skywalkers out [for no apparent reason ] and suddenly I noticed one was slightly different the printing on the head was slightly higher so it looked different compared to the others when you put hair/helmet on it until then I didn't notice. It really annoys me. Also I just noticed my Rebel Troopers from 7666 also have the same problem!! [i was making some figures for my possible upcoming Mafia Game haven't decided if I should do it or not....] Just wondering if anyone else has this, Its very slight but you can tell if you have 2 side by side and with hair/helmet on. Also it's just my newer figs like my Skywalker with it was from the motorized AT-AT that I got for Christmas... EDIT: Can an admin/mod please edit the sub-title thingy I made a typo it should be "On my minifig heads" not hears lol Quote
AwesomeStar Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Can you show us a picture? It could be misprinting, or maybe something like the recent topic about the CW Mace Windu figure and the magnet version? Here's a link to the topic: Link! Quote
Darth_Legois Posted February 23, 2009 Author Posted February 23, 2009 Sorry camera not working. Hmm interesting topic I never saw that Quote
just2good Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 My agent fuse is misprint. He looks all chalky. And I can't take a picture because my camera is really cruddy.. Quote
Brickthing Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 I have a couple of the same older construction worker heads, and line on one of them is slightly, but noticeably thicker than the other heads. I'm not too sure if it was specific to the particular set, or if it is a slight misprint. Quote
CP5670 Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 This has been the case for a long time. I have minifig heads going back to at least 1992 (with Space Police 2) with small variations in the positions of their eyebrows or hair. In a way it's not a bad thing though, as it gives the minifigs a bit of variety. Real people don't all look the same, after all. Quote
kill will Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 I have an Indy head with the eyes all black and the goatee messed up so he looks like some sort of zombie. It's creepy, a danger to all my other figs. It could happen to the best of them! Not that really give a crap, I have at least five Indys, and he's flesh. Quote

JCC1004 Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 I have 3 different Indy heads. The stubble color is different on each one. One is dark brown, reddish brown, and and some lighter brown. If any of you have this too, can you post pics? Quote
Ricecracker Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 It happened to me last year. I bought this set, and the head was all smudged, you couldn't even tell it was the right one. I'll try and find it to show a picture. Quote
banthabricks Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 I have a very large amount of misprinted heads. My favorite of which is a clone with a missing eye! Quote
YG-49 Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 My Power Miner Rex's head's pupils are completly out of... well the space in between the black circles is practically yellow and outside the circles are white dots. This seems to happen to a lot of my yellow figs Quote
badboytje88 Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 I get this a lot with the latest scared female face. the black line in the mouth of the regular face is allmost never in the middle of the smile. Most of these heads I own only have an upper lip. The scared side of the head is just the same.the black line is positioned wronly Quote
Peppermint_M Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Not ever had any misprints myself. But you never know. I think they'd look pretty cool as random "creepy" easter egg features of a MOC Quote
Natman8000 Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 I see on some new heads thicker or smudgy lines. Its pretty hard to see though. Quote
