GIR 3691 Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Flickr Built for use in an upcoming brickfilm. Sections of the ship will be made in minifig scale (see flickr page for scale comparison). I'm still working on the story, but it's going to be sci-fi, possibly horror. The ship has various influences; Pillar of Autumn (Halo,) Serenity (from Serenity,) etc... Asuka Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Very detailed, interesting in shape and with a neat color scheme. I´m not sure about the dinghy (?) and how it´s attached to it, and these 'empty' spots at the sides of the rear section... Quote
prateek Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 i love the small details nd the colour scheme and i like the SNOT (?) near the back of the ship Quote
GIR 3691 Posted February 22, 2009 Author Posted February 22, 2009 Very detailed, interesting in shape and with a neat color scheme. i love the small details nd the colour scheme and i like the SNOT (?) near the back of the ship Thank you. The entire ship uses SNOT techniques, front to back. The back is inspired by the back of Firefly class ships (Serenity.) It's supposed to be a partially exposed fusion engine, and there are trans green 1x1 bricks back there, but I don't think it's exposed enough to show. I´m not sure about the dinghy (?) and how it´s attached to it, and these 'empty' spots at the sides of the rear section... The shuttle craft attaches underneath the command bridge in the front. Look at the brickshelf images. The empty spots in the back are intentional. It's radial building, and partially exposed. Quote
