SeaKing61 Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 The monkeys, led by an evil bus-driving Fabuland monkey, of Lego City are desperate for bananas! Could this refrigerator truck that's being shunted hold any of those lovely yellow fruits? Only one way to find out... The monkeys force the train driver to unload all the pallets of fruit; will this one hold the yellowy goodness they so desire? Check out that monkey's sideburns, I wouldn't mess with him even if he didn't have a gun. All that lovely fruit wasted, what a shame. I spent a few hours today photographing some of my MOCs and thought I'd preview my refrigerator car and my Shunter based on a BR Class 08. I need to edit and resize the rest of the photos tomorrow then I'll upload them all to Brickshelf and show them here. Laurie Quote
welcomestranger Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 That is very cool! Did they all go see Sheena Easton afterwards? :) Quote
Zepher Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Funny an well done. Two good things that go great together! Quote
SeaKing61 Posted February 20, 2009 Author Posted February 20, 2009 Thanks guys, this was my first attempt at photographing Lego. I got a bit bored just taking photos so I couldn't resist adding some Fabuland and having a play! I have a bunch more pictures of trains and cars and aircraft, all done in a classic town style and all with Fabuland figures and monkeys causing chaos throughout. Hopefully I'm gonna edit out the backgrounds on the rest today and get them uploaded. Laurie Quote

Darth Legolas Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Did they ever find the bananas? Good job, and nice use of that green Exo-Force hair -piece. Since those rubbery-hair pieces never ever stay on minifig heads or any studs anyway, this is a good use for it! And do I se lime green Gary eyes from the spongebob sets finally used correctly as berries? Quote
SeaKing61 Posted February 21, 2009 Author Posted February 21, 2009 (edited) I'm afraid to say those two crates of fruit are taken straight from Market Street! I don't have any lego bananas so the monkeys will never find any. They've taken to auto theft now, as you can see in one of the other MOCs in my Brickshelf. Eilif Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 (edited) Nice job. I'm looking for ward to seeing what havoc the monkeys are able to wreak on the rest of your train. Too bad about the bananas though... As for the pictures. If you set your camera for a lower resolution like 3m, it will take pictures that you will not have to resize. Since all my pictures of MOCs are intended for the internet or computer, I take most of them at 3M now. Edited February 22, 2009 by Eilif Quote
Nimirdil Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 It's realy nice and funny. I love these monkeys. I have some from pirates sets - they're my favourite lego animals. Quote
