tin7_creations Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I've been trying to create a Tinkerbell fig for my Disney collection, however 2 problems have arisen for me: 1) Tinkerbell's hair with the "bun" on the back. I don't think there are any official pieces like that from Lego. I thought of molding a blond bun out of sculpey and gluing it onto Willie Scotts hair, but I only have one copy of that, and I don't want to ruin it. Anyone have any suggestions? 2) Tinkerbell's wings. Are there any transparent lego pieces that are like fairy wings? Thanks for any help or ideas! ~tin7 Quote
soc399 Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I'm not sure about the bun, but there are some Belville parts that might work for the wings. Try these, these or these. You might also think about Geonosian wings, but they are really expensive. Quote

For the hair, I think a blonde/tan ponytail would work perfectly and look nice. If you don't have one, there's one in the cheap City Minifigure Collection set. Quote
KinGanon Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Take darthperson's advice on the hair and if you have a spare Leia headpiece (and are willing to cut it) you could use the bun from that. Just my two cents. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 As you can see from the fantastic Irregular Webcomic DMM has made bun hair piece using a blob of sculpy on a normal hair piece. Quote
