KinGanon Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Well I am making some macrobinculars for my custom CW Commander Bly. I used some sculpey to add to the visor found in the CW sets. I know how to add sculpey to regular LEGO, but the visor seems to be a less quality piece(definately not ABS plastic). Any suggestions on how to make this custom piece without ending up with a bley LEGO puddle? Any help is appreciated. Quote
Dutch Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 this is my idea take an arealight macrobincular and see if i works if not customize it Quote
pr0visorak Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Agreed! Super glue may help but there is still a chance of failure Quote
Bobskink Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 just don't use to many of it and be carefull. Quote
KinGanon Posted February 21, 2009 Author Posted February 21, 2009 I already made the macrobinculars, I just put the visor with the sculpey and let it cook on a really low temperature(150 degrees I think.) I would not recommend superglue as I attempted to make some with it and the glue warped the LEGO and discolored it making it very unattractive. Quote
Dutch Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 thats soundes cool can you give us a pix of it. what i did for a macrobincular is take a lego visor and cut off the side pieces and it tuned at really good hope that helps Quote
