diabloiij Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I was bored last night and I made this enjoy! Quote
Zorro Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Wow looks great, care to explain us a bit more about the process? I'm really interested! I mean, is all real original untouched LEGO? Quote
Natman8000 Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Wow looks great, care to explain us a bit more about the process? I'm really interested!I mean, is all real original untouched LEGO? He probobly used c-3po's parts. Is that so? Quote
Dadster Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I'm guessing a mix of 3PO and painted. Looks nice regardless! Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Excellent fig D. I love that gold plate. Very nice! Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I agree with Zorro, this is very interesting and I'm curious how you did this too. It looks excellent! Quote
diabloiij Posted February 16, 2009 Author Posted February 16, 2009 I painted the parts with gold paint. The sword shield and chest armor are normal parts. Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I noticed that as well, but the painted parts are very well done. A suggestion might be to paint the plume in the same dark blue as the chestplate and shield. It would fit better in the colour sheme like that way. Or you might find it a waste from the nice plume by painting it. Just my opinion... Quote

Admiral Blockbeard Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 It looks great! I cant wait to get my hands on the Lego version. Regards, Cpt. PB Quote
WhiteFang Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 This Gold Knight makes an awesome looking Paladin. I enjoyed viewing this minifig of yours, and I will like to create something similar to lead the golden knights. Quote
TLV Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Looks really similar to the lego one. The paint job is really well done! Quote
Sir Dillon Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Very nice paint job diabloiij! This actually fits better in the Minifig Customization workshop though, so I'll move it there. Quote
LuxorV Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 This is very shiny ! Great job. Thanks for sharing, diabloiij LuxorV Quote
pr0visorak Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 And you did that all in one night? Great job! Ooh shiny Quote
ED-209 Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Very nice indeed! LOL You know the first thing that springs into my mind? That this poor bastard is the King's decoy! The real King is on the battlefield dressed as a normal knight, but all the arrows are all fired in the direction of this guy in the conspicuous armour! It's a crappy job but the Christmas party is pretty good. Quote
