Derek Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 There have always been certain people who point out how "sexy" or "hot" certain female minifgures are. Am I the only one here that finds this extremely bizzare? They are inch tall pieces of plastic (or ABS, I knew I would get corrected), I really don't see how you get "excited" over it. Have any of you seen real humans? Or do you fufill your romantic fantasies with minifigures? (PLEASE, no one awnser that question! ) Perhaps I'm one of the only normal ones here... -darthperson Quote
Lt. Veers Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I don't know, there are some pretty weird people on the online community.... Quote
Brickthing Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 They're commenting on how hot and sexy the minifigs are compared to other minifigs. And it's mostly just a joke anyway. Quote

Problem is, even though your "comparing" your still implying your atraction to them. Even more so when you say its "mostly" a joke. Quote
ProducePrincess Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 (edited) Hey female minifgures are pretty sexy especially agent trace , well i thought that until i came out of my basement for the first time seriously though if find it rather odd that people call ABS plastic minifigs Hot , maybe when they first emerge from their molds in the factory or when some jerk steals your lego princess leia and puts her in the microwave Edited February 16, 2009 by Black Rabbit Quote
prateek Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 i noticed that too. every time i see someone say that, i always say to myself, hey wtf get a life. but really, this is mostly a joke Quote
Peppermint_M Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Minifigs aren't hot, or sexy.(I may change my mind when we get the Jake Gylanhaal minifigs ) Quote
Ricecracker Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I know that I sometimes say that, and the truth is that A) It's just s joke B) It's commenting on the fact that there is a female MF in the set C) The parts will be useful D) If I were an MF, it's how they would look to me. Other people might think differently, those are just my opinions. Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Not seeing this as a joke, and thinking that somebody means it is even weirder than saying it. It's a joke guys, lighten up ey! Quote
Derek Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 It's a joke guys, lighten up ey! I can understand the joke, its just what scares me is that I really think a lot of people are serious about it... Quote
Admiral Blockbeard Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 It is mostly jokes (I am not sure about IS ). But seeing as I am one of the accused. (see a thread incriminating Imperial Shadows, Dano and Myself. about cleavage in my pirate decals) If I refer to a MiniFig as hot, I am projecting what I assume the Mini-fig would look like in Real life. Not the ABS in front of me. Regards, Cpt. PB Quote
Shadows Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 In a world where people call cars sexy, I can't really see how anyone could be puzzled by appreciation of the female form in it's theoretical LEGO representation. It is mostly jokes (I am not sure about IS ). But seeing as I am one of the accused. (see a thread incriminating Imperial Shadows, Dano and Myself. about cleavage in my pirate decals) Not to mention my biker babe and halter top decals. If I refer to a MiniFig as hot, I am projecting what I assume the Mini-fig would look like in Real life. Not the ABS in front of me. Exactly. LEGO figures, especially in the realm of licensed themes, are meant to represent real people. If you can't look at their LEGO form and decide what they would look like for real, you clearly lack the kind of imagination that CPB and I have. Lucky you. Quote
Alice Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I must admit. I am very excited about using the mermaid's torso as my new summer bikini look for my sigfig when she is hanging out at her Lego beach house. I haven't gotten her yet but I plan to for this very purpose. My sigfig is going to be quite sexy/hot for summer. And.. Yes, Shadows and I actually have serious conversations about which Lego house our sigfigs are spending time in for different seasons. I plan to buy the new house in 2009 for our autumn and winter dwelling. My sigfig will wear some cleavage bearing torso then as well because after all, it is her best feature. It's a little crazy but its fun. Quote

I have to agree with IS (Oh dear... what has the world come to? ) People calling a car hot or sexy is really strange. Lego's all about imagination, I'm sure you when people say that a MF is sexy they probably mean what that fug would look like in real life or they're joking around. It's nothing serious... And Alice, that house is actually pretty good. I'm surprised shadows doesn't live by himself in some creepy black castle giving people like me titles like rebellious snot. Shadows Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I have to agree with IS (Oh dear... what has the world come to? ) Alert the media! Oh no, that would be Staudie. Don't alert the media! I'm surprised shadows doesn't live by himself in some creepy black castle giving people like me titles like rebellious snot. You have me confused with Dragonator, and it's still a perfectly suited title as we've just seen. I actually moved out of the creepy black castle. The neighbours were overly friendly and kept showing up with torches and pitchforks every time I had a little experiment going. I'm fairly sure they were trying to invite me to a BBQ or something, but that can really throw you off schedule. Quote
eti Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 The only figure I find really, really *~HoT~* is... Poekie de Poes!!! Quote
Sandy Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I find this whole discussion quite disturbing. Quote
Dadster Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I think its harmless fun. Some of us also pick out the "cool" faces and torsos when creating MOCs. We want the best-looking pieces available. Quote

Admiral Blockbeard Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Hey, hey!!! That would be a cat! Go back to your own kind IS, Cats are my category... Get it category... I crack myself up sometimes. Back to your summer house! Now, projecting that fig in real life... Quote
Shadows Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 That would be a cat! Go back to your own kind IS, Cats are my category... I do have an alternate Fabuland sigfig I've never used... don't make me unleash him upon this faint hearted audience. Quote
Admiral Blockbeard Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 My doctors told me I have a good heart-so did my Mrs-... better not be my secret fabuland sig ... heres mine now show me yours... Now Hinckley is going to have a field day with me... Bears are almost cats! Regards, Cpt. PB Quote
Shadows Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I never have taken a picture of the real one since I can't decide on the right hat. It's always the hat, and with those ears, it's tricky. Maybe a bicorne. I do have the solid white one. My doctors told me I have a good heart I do too. I keep it in a jar. :skull: heres mine now show me yours... The last time I heard that ... Now Hinckley is going to have a field day with me... *puts Mr. Bear on the old Bricklink shopping list* Bears are almost cats! Foxes are closer. Quote
Admiral Blockbeard Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 So we have a fox and a bear... Oh my... The only other figs I own are a Bunny and a Pig... I never realized just how sexual all the figs are in Fabuland... A bird, a cat, a dog, the list goes on! Or is that in the world we live anything can be turned sexually. I just had a great Idea...
