hollisbrick Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 According to the front page:7748 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid ™ 7753 Pirate Tank ™ 7754 Home One ™ Mon Calamari Star Cruiser ™ 8033 General Grievous Starfighter 8036 Separatists Shuttle ™ These are the sets that there have been no leaked pictures of It seems strange that we'd get another general grevious starfighter, unless its a mini, or maybe a CW specific one. We have pics of that one I am also suprised that there is gonna be another grevious ship. I think your right, probably is going to be a CW one Hopefully a new grevious figs and some Magna troopers (TLG seem to be putting in random figs in sets now so why not ) Quote
CommanderCody77 Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Definitely not! Have you even seen it? It's 3 studs tall! Yeah I guess you're right unless they change it and its stil preliminary you know According to the front page:7748 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid ™ 7753 Pirate Tank ™ 7754 Home One ™ Mon Calamari Star Cruiser ™ 8033 General Grievous Starfighter 8036 Separatists Shuttle ™ These are the sets that there have been no leaked pictures of It seems strange that we'd get another general grevious starfighter, unless its a mini, or maybe a CW specific one. CommanderCody77 Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 8033 is the Mini Yeah I agree with you Quote
Legoman Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 If you look at the first post there's an instructions pic saying 8033 for the mini. Its confirmed Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 (edited) The only two sets of which we've got already the set numbers but no pictures and even no detailed information are the mid-scale Millenium Falcon and the Home One set. Besides there might be (when you trust earlier rumours) a "Tantive 4 UCS playset". But we don't have got any set number nore some more information about this set. Imo it might even well be that we won't get this set (which really would be a pity if it is designed very well - meaning with good and new minifigs, with nice interior and is not too expensive) since there'll already be the CW RSD this year which is a huge ship. And I think that there will surely be another "total" UCS set - like e. g. last year's General Grievous statue. Klaus-Dieter Edited January 26, 2009 by Klaus-Dieter Quote
RoscoPC Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 8033 is the Mini And 8033 building instructions are also available on LEGO website: http://cache.lego.com/bigdownloads/buildin...ons/4549834.pdf Quote
Bricks Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Sorry if i'm doing KimT's job but can you please edit that into propper English because i really can't understand that. I hope I understand this, right! I think he means the water sign on the prelim. pictures. But there didn't stand '2005'. And if it stands really there, who cares?! Greetings 'Bricks' Quote

useasneeded4pain Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Pictures from the Canadian Toy Fair: some 2009 sets Quote
Legoman Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 (edited) EDIT: useasneeded4pain bet me to it Guys! New pics! Looks like lego deside to actully show them themselves! LOOK! Edited January 26, 2009 by legoman Quote
-JD- Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 (edited) Nice find you two!!! The figs still look incomplete though, as the ewoks have no markings on their faces and Nute still looks too white. But hey, the sets look awesome! Edited January 26, 2009 by Jammiedodger714 Quote
CF Mitch Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Great, here we go again with links being repeated 20.000 times *likes to overreact* Anyhoo, thanks for those pictures. The Hoth set looks great so far, really liking the oppertunity to get Snowtroopers a little cheaper I'm liking the Indy sets too, but that's for another topic Greetings, CF W Quote
Skipper 24 Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 You can see the new Hoth rebel goggles too, they look pretty neat. The taun-tauns have new horns too I think. Looking at the updated jetpacks they still don't look very good and nothing like what people ahve been describing. Thanks for the link. Quote
Erdbeereis Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 The Hoth rebels look fantastic! As for the jetpacks, those may still be prelim. Quote
Skipper 24 Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Well the jetpacks are probably prelim but I think that was the pic that got removed the other day and the jet packs don't look like what was described although I am probably wrong. I think the little station the Endor Rebels are sitting at is the inside of the bunker. Quote
Darth Legolas Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 (edited) Hoth rebels are great! I hate TLG for removing the two backpacks and turning them into squares! Squares? Looks like they entirely gave up on making good new helmets for the Endor Rebels. Neimiodian Shuttle looks great. Nute Gunray isn't terrible at least. And down right, I am DYING here, because the one set this guy didn't take a picture of, is the Venator, so I still can't see the semi-final version! plus, it looks almost as if the earlier prototypes were better. EDIT: Bah! All these pictures are moot. R2 in the Endor set doesn't have the death star face. What does this tell us everyone? Prototypes!!! But really! Square jetpacks? No new Endor helmets? Come on TLG! Come on! According to the front page:7748 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid Edited January 26, 2009 by Darth Legolas Quote
useasneeded4pain Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I imagine the sets can and will change some between these prototype sets and the actual releases. Even the boxes pictured have the much-discussed "confidential" stamp on their fronts. Quote
Naith Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Wow for the first time in ALONG time I think I'll acutally get all of those sets they all look great Quote
Millacol88 Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Canadian toyfair FTW! We're never first to show of the new sets. Never! They look great, still clearly prelim though. Quote
RoflWafls Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Eww... The Endor Troopers look terrible in these prelims and R2 isn't Death Star R2 ): Well, thats prelims for ya ;) Quote
natelite Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 new visors! those looks cool! if that's ca's price, then i guess the hoth set will retail for US$20-25! not a bad price at all. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I like the prelim box art pics better for the Rebel Commandos with a new helmet and not just a dark green kepi (sp?). These just look like they have squiggly lines on the torso. Quote
