Pirate Impulse sets in Denmark

I just stumbled upon the two Pirate Impulse sets in a Danish toy store in the city Skagen

I wasn't aware of the sets' availability in Denmark yet, as I thought they were to be released in March along with the rest of the Pirate line.

What usually happens when a new theme comes up? Does Lego sell the impulse sets in advance of the release date of the main sets?

As far as I know, TLC uses to release the complete series at the same time Maybe one or two special sets could be released some months after but not the Impulse...

Anyway you're really lucky, here in the south of Europe we have to wait at least until April to have the Pirate line...

Apparently the Impulse sets are be released ahead of the larger sets in some regions.

I have to check the shops in the Netherlands this weekend, till now there's nothing here.

I think TLC is just experimenting what is perhaps the best.

Plus,... do not forget every country has another "buy-behaviour" and taste and another cultural background.

This is not based on facts but I think for example that Castle sells better in Europe then in other countries seen our cultural context. The Medieval periode have occurred here and most kids must learn about this dark periode in school.

I was too expecting that the pirate line would come later here in Greece (maybe even later from other countries) and if we were lucky, the impulse sets earlier. To my surprise, all pirate sets are available! (I've just purchased two.)

Just this week on Wednesday I saw the two pirate impulse set in an interspar shopping centre. So those two sets are already available in Austria, but not the other sets belonging to the pirate line.

In italy the impulse set was release in a good quantity about 3-4 weeks ago

I think that in Milano I contribuited to level up the ratio, I bought 26 impulse set (26 soldiers) in 3 different toy ur us... now the shelters are empty ehehehehehe

the sets you talk about is that soldiers arsenal(8396) last time i went to town (Bodø)they had 30 pieces of that set, and i say again they HAD they are all mine now. and after that i've bought 9 more+ some pirate set( pirate that bbq a fish) and all of that just to feel the happyness of FINALLY geting pirates back.

Does anyone know the release dates in Norway or Sweden? or where i can find such a date?

Yes those are the sets I'm talking about

It's strange that I found them in such a small town as Skagen, when they aren't in any of the shops in my hometown which is a much larger city...

I guess there's no rhyme or reason to this

In Belgium we can find the Impulses and the Pirates building Set since January. I just bought 20 + 3 as a starter to enlarge my army. Thats 40 soldiers so far .

So its quite normal, we get the rest of the sets in March.

You guys should just call customer care and ask it to the right person, if the first one says I dunno, ask another one.

Here in Canada we have all the sets minus the impulses. My local Zellers has lots of impulse sets but no pirate ones
