General Armendariz Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Here's what the ship wrecked pirate from Loot island would look like BEFORE he was ship wrecked Before: After: Together for comparison: And there you have it! I was just messing around with them when I just noticed it. Enjoy! Quote
Loganwan Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 It's funny, but he got taller after he was ship wrecked. Shouldn't people get shorter as they get older? Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 (edited) The reason is the camera angle and his beard. Very funny comparison, I didn't noticed that. But now I do! Thanks. Edited January 17, 2009 by Cap'n Blackmoor Quote
Thee Pirate Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 I think this is probably the only time you'll ever hear me say I really like the legs on that guy!!! Okay, but seriously.. that guy, the admirals daughter, and the pirate chick are probably my favorite new minifigs in the Pirates 2009 line. I have 1 copy of this set....before the year's out, I plan on getting two or three more :-D I just have to wait for some other plans to be complete... Quote
Ratshot Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 (edited) Sometimes I frig around and do stuff like that to. Edited February 5, 2009 by Broadside Quote
Brickvergnugen Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Good catch! At least he had a sewing kit on the island to attach that patch!! .. that guy, the admirals daughter, and the pirate chick are probably my favorite new minifigs in the Pirates 2009 line. Agreed! The governor in the Soldiers Fort is nice too (especially since there isn't one in every other set like Brickbeard!). Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted January 31, 2009 Governor Posted January 31, 2009 Where does the mini-figure on the right originate from? (I.e. BEFORE he was ship wrecked) Quote
Huntleyfx Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Just curious, have you tried the unshipwrecked figure with the Mathias head? It might be an interesting combination. Quote
Dreamweb Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 His brown pistol and pants even got reddish over the years! It must have been rust (the pistol), and salt/waethering/soil/dirt (the pants). Quote
