jindroush Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 I actually really like the planes. The front, the wings and the tail are all big molds, and I can't tell if the top is one big piece or several smaller pieces, but the windows appear to be ordianry Lego window pieces. But even with the big molds, it LOOKS great, and in my opinion has enough studs to look like it fits into the Lego world. The 'hull' consists of several top/down 8x8 or 8x16 pieces. Wings are one _long_ part. I don't like 2006's City Airport/Hospital at all. OTOH, construction subtheme... ;) Quote
Norro Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Does anyone think that the figures in the racers in the Ferrari race set are Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello? It seems obvious to me that the are, as they look flesh toned in the pic to me, their names are written on the garage, and who else would be in the Formula 1s? If it is them, then this is the first time that Lego have given yellow and flesh toned minifigs in the same set. If I recall correctly Lego have said this. Definately the 2fig and trophy set reads that way in a mag I have somewhere... God Bless, Nathan Quote
DoubleT Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Well it would not be smart to have Rubens Barrichello in a 06 set..... Rubens aint in a Ferrari in 06... Quote

JINZONINGEN73 Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 http://brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1426000 I do hope that jet has a megablocking propeller to go inside that turbine... Though, knowing how Lego is, they probably made it so one has to buy TWO of THIS to get them lol... http://brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1426001 Quote
greivous Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 I hate the way the new planes are ridiculously junorized. They have a few real pieces like the widows but nearly everything else are new pieces... BIG new pieces. I have a very bad felling that Lego are going down a very slippery slope with these new pieces. It looks like Playmobile or the Duplo planes. What are you going to do with the pieces. Are Lego forgetting that Lego is a toy for changing and customizing? These planes are easily the worst Lego set I have ever seen. As for the hospital I kinda like it. I will definitely get it (if the price is right) because I always wanted an ambulance and a hospital for mt ever growing city. :D Quote
