And I think I'll be getting a couple of Airport Mechanic, just for the turbine. The Triceratrops is FANTASTIC!!! You're the man !!!!!! Danke mein freund ;) I am deeply impressed with the airport, copter and planes !!!!!!! want them all !!!!!!!!! I am quite disappointed with the medical sub theme, looks exactly like the firemen vehicles (truck, car and helicopter) but with the medic sign *wacko* . The hospital is really too simple !!!! And I love that new theme "Exo-Force" !!! The figs look really awsome, the mechas look so neat, and that ship looks really neat !!!!! I wonder how that new TLC gadget will look, at least its not LULS :D I wonder what new Ferrari sets we'll have, I hope its MF sized !!!!! OMG, 2006 is getting better and better, I get I'll get poorer and poorer sob sob !!!! Topic pinned of course !!!!! Quote

Thanks for all the news Cutty! ;) I really like the hospital sets, apart from the big hospital all the other sets are great! The plane looks amazing! :oD And the new airport.. wow! Although I haven't bought any yet, the new KK2 big-figs look awesome! Check out the armour on Sir Kentis, Sir Adric, Dracus and Karzon!! The best looking set is by far the Triceratops, it looks much better than the last dino designer set. Not sure what to think of Exo-force.. looks a little un-Legoish to me, but I'll wait for further news. Jon. Quote

sam89 Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Here's my opinions: Football - The big stadium barely looks like Lego. I wonder why theu bothered, when they've made two Football themes before. Racers & Technic - I'm not too impressed by any of these models. They're OK just nothing special. KK2 - These actually look really good. It's good to see some new characters and accesories. Perhaps we'll get a minifig with a mace? City - Most of the Ambulence stuff isn't that amazing, but I really like the helicopter! The fire truck's cool, and as for the planes and Airport: :oo X-Pods and Designer - The new X-Pods look good, especially the white and Dino ones! The triceratops is really good as well. Exo-Force They look a bit like Meega Bloks, but they're OK. There's some interesting figs (look at the guy with green hair!). Ferrari - I LOVE the 430 Spider, it'll go great with my Enzo. The "Ferrari Zieleinfahrt" is good too, I like the guy with the microphone. Quote

snefroe Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 thanks cutty! at first i was quite happy. the hospital theme looks good, even tho i was hoping for a less materialistic style... it doesn't give a warm image of a hospital, i like the cars, tho the airport sucks. i don't like the style. again, too modern, too materialistic,... it almost looks like a jack stone building... the planes... almost look like a one piece model... the exo force: god help us... and i thought dino was the low point... i like the triceratops, that's pretty cool all the rest is just filling of the catalogue; ferrari may be great for the fans, the pods... sure... the racers... I suspect these pics were copied/scanned from a german retailer-catalogue.
