Hi,

I am new here at classic-pirates and i want to show you my first MOC after 12 years i guess. I had a lot of LEGO as a kid and thanks to classic pirates and other sites i discovered it again. I can't wait till the the new pirates sets are finally available in germany!

sorry, but embedding the pictures from flickr didnt work...

(i have the feeling that there is the "unspoken rule" to tile everything up to make it soft and smooth but i have no tiles ;-))

i forgot:

of course, this one is inspired by 6267, lagoon locked up. i wanted to create a real tavern without a jail but with more wine. ;-) the tavern is called white flag because in times of peace soldiers and pirates can come together and have a drink. arrrr.

Really nice work here, your style is awesome, and for a first MOC this is great! Tiles can be used but the rugged effect you have achieved here works even better in my opinion. The pictures probably didn't work because on a forum post there are special functions that have to be used to embed pictures, you can find these buttons when creating your post.

thanks for your comments and thanks for the link. i will check it out.

i also tried to upload the images but they were too big. 100kb is not that much...

do you "shrink" your pictures with photoshop (or sth else) before uploading it?

or is there another option? ok, will read the instructions first... ;-)

It looks awesome for your first MOC! The idea, the structure and it's colours are just great.

Just like Guss said it's a very peaceful MOC. That's quite unusual in the Pirate's world. :pir_laugh2:

Can't wait to see more of your creations!

As other people have said, this is awesome for a first MOC! This looks really great, like something that LEGO could have released back then as an actual set.

I've added the pics to your first post.

It works perfectly if you delete the bold, underlined portion in the line below (and the asterisks). :pir-wink:

The directlink must end in .jpg, .png, or some other picture file to work.

I don't obey this rule either. :pir-grin:

I'd ask Mr. SlyOwl about it.
