Bob Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 Hello everyone, After my army base was blown up, I decided to do something with the table and with the pieces. I decided to make a Death Star Playset. It's under construction and it's going very fast. So far, the first floor has been done. Expect another floor to on top of this after my Pick a Brick order arrives in. So far it has: A Meeting Room A Prison Block Sleep and Eating Room Random Hallway And a Hanger Bay. Things for when the order comes in: The Laser Room (Or Firing Room, defends.) A Death Star Park (Go Figure, learned that they actually had parks on the Death Star for the Human Crew...) The Control Room Place. And a Garbage Smasher. (Will replace the Prison Block on the first floor, that will go to the second.) And or A Turbolaser Room (For beating off those pesky rebels!) Random Little Things: A White Backround, for the final product, for better pictures. A Completed Grey Wall, which is under construction at the end of the road way. More Imperial Soldiers (There scattered around, ill find them.) Now for the pictures, minus a backround. A Whole Overview. You can see the hanger and other room's. As you can see, I'll just put the room's on top of one another. The Moff Meeting Room, with the Evil Tarkin waiting. The Detention Block, for keeping away those bothersome rebels. The Random Hallway! Nothing important here... Rest Zone, With Alfred the Butler serving food. (Couldn't resist) The Death Star Reception Area! The showers, with one Stormie taking a shower. Death Star Valet! And Finally, our Hero of an Upcoming Short Story: Evan Nordom, a secret Rebel Infitrator. Credit Area: ACPin, when reading this link (Scroll Down alittle) on last Friday night, I build a Moff Room for fun. It just expanded on that. I also stole borrowed the idea for the neat little playset, and stacking them ontop of each other. Well, Do you worst, and give suggestions. Its Just a Work in Progress anyway... Quote
Patriot720 Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Wow that looks great so far I like the touch of humor you add with the trooper showering and "alfred" serving food! The only suggestion I have would be to use Bricklink instead of Pick a brick as it's cheaper. Although I don't mind using second-hand pieces, but you may prefer new pieces. Sorry If I seem like I'm nitpicking but I am just trying to be as helpful as possible lol. Quote
Bob Posted December 10, 2008 Author Posted December 10, 2008 Thanks for the comment. I didn't need to many pieces, so I used pick a brick, as it got me a chance to get the new pirate sets as well. Quote
