Jasbrick Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 This guy is one of a new faction that I am developing. This is a sci-fi / super modern concept. I present Ivan the Brikviet Shocktrooper: And from another angle: I hope you like him. Jasbrick Quote

Jasbrick Posted December 4, 2008 Author Posted December 4, 2008 I the wand piece's red star . Great job, but did you make the armour? Buy it? Find it? Dream it? It was definitely dream first then build it myself... all made from pretty standard parts just butchered about a bit. I am going to be creating a few more with some variations along the same theme. Jasbrick Posted December 4, 2008 Author Posted December 4, 2008 Thanks everyone for the comments on this... I really like the way he has turned out, so much so I am currently building a squad of these guys and some other variants from the Brikvian Armed Forces. As soon as these are ready I will post them. Captain Green Hair Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Nice work! Are those stars click-it parts? Quote
ProducePrincess Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 I'm wondering how would you connect the butcherd lego peices to eachother? Also how did you get the dark green peices ,if you changed the colours then how did you do it? Anyways great work and i think it looks beautifully terriffing. ...any chance you are selling it? Quote
Jasbrick Posted December 5, 2008 Author Posted December 5, 2008 (edited) Nice work! Are those stars click-it parts? Click-it parts??? mmm... had not thought about butchering those. The star comes from the end of a normal minifig wand. You may just have given me an idea for a whole new set of parts to play with... Thanks! I'm wondering how would you connect the butcherd lego peices to eachother? Also how did you get the dark green peices ,if you changed the colours then how did you do it? Anyways great work and i think it looks beautifully terriffing. ...any chance you are selling it? OK... Parts connected by using pins and glue. Dark green is from painting the parts... by hand using several thin layers of GW paint. Selling it.....mmm.... not really geared up for that and if I part with him I may feel lonely.... I think maybe in the future when I have an army of the little suckers! I hope to post more pics of him and his comrades when I get a chance. Jasbrick Edited December 5, 2008 by Jasbrick Quote

Joey Lock Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 I like how you made this trooper I have a question is this fig asian (japanise?) Sounds more like a Post-Apoc Soviet group. Possibly after the Cuban Missile Crisis? That would be a brilliant Science-Fiction Novel... Quote
Jasbrick Posted December 8, 2008 Author Posted December 8, 2008 I like how you made this trooper I have a question is this fig asian (japanise?) The intention was to make a futuristic Communist style theme... I am heavily inspired by Japanese imagery, however in this case I was going for a sci-fi version of Soviet forces. Quote
