Bartram Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Nice ;) What did you use to make the helmet? Quote
DarthPineapple Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Nice! The helmet is pretty good, but the lower 'dish' should be bigger. Quote
tedbeard Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 (edited) Nice ;) What did you use to make the helmet? As he said, he used "Sculpey" which is a brand-name for a polymer "clay" sold in craft and art stores here in Canada (and I think the US as well). It comes in air and oven-hardening varieties and a number of different colours. BTW Aaron, I thought you had found a way to make a fabric cover for a brodie when I first saw your picture. Adding some netting and foliage effects for some hedgerow fighting would be really cool. Edited December 8, 2008 by tedbeard Quote

Unfortunately the baking process kinda negates the possibility of adding foliage precook, but post-cook....hmmmmm...(I think I have a new project for tonite) Quote
