castlestrike666 Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Hi all! I've made some progress with my newest castle. I don't know if you'll like it, so I hope you'll comment it.. The name isn't sure too.. For now I gave it the name "Draconian Castle".. Enjoy! (Newest pictures at the end!) Draconian Castle Quote
simonwillems Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 This looks really good! I love the tiled floors and other interior details such as the chandelier in the torture chamber, and the fact that that tower is really round. This is going to be a big project I recon. I am working on a walled medieval town myself and you are a good inspirator. Quote
Sir Dillon Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 It's difficult for me to envision how this will appear when it's done, but right now it's looking great! Those trees are neat too. Thanks for keeping us updated. Quote
I Scream Clone Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Well done again! Its progressing nicely. I really love the old tree and the great looking Tudor houses. I admire that you have taken on such a massive task and you will probably feel like you have no purpose once its all finished Keep going and don't slow down. Cheers Quote
castlestrike666 Posted November 26, 2008 Author Posted November 26, 2008 Thaha,, indeed.. sometimes I regret I've started this biggie.. All that money and pieces.. but oh well.. let's finish what I started Quote
Erdbeereis Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 That's looking beautiful so far Castlestrike! I love the interior, especially the torture room. Can't wait to see the finished product. Quote
Josh Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Nice one mate!Have you posted pics of this already?I am sure I was just checking this out yesterday or the day bfeore whilst reading old threads? Quote
castlestrike666 Posted November 27, 2008 Author Posted November 27, 2008 Tortury room @ Josh, here's the tortury room Quote
Josh Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 You going to put a rack on the floor as well to stretch the buggers? I think I am going to invest in a heap more gray bricks! Quote
castlestrike666 Posted November 27, 2008 Author Posted November 27, 2008 I've been thinking of doing that, but the room would be too crowdy then.. There's already quite a lot in it. I even made a test of a rack Grey isn't bad to invest in! It's a very wanted color.. If you simply send me a pm, I can give you a bricklinkshop which sells quite a lot of those bricks, together with a lot of other very interesting stuff; for cheap prices too! Kenny. Quote

Teddy Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Dear Castlestrike666, your castle is progressing nicely! I love the tree you made, it looks fantastic. The courtyard buildings are also looking good. Keep it up. BTW, I'm also interested in this gray brick heaven shop. Kind regards, Teddy Quote

castlestrike666 Posted November 29, 2008 Author Posted November 29, 2008 Thanks for the great reactions everyone! @ Teddy,, I wouldn't call it a heaven, but a few 100 bricks will do the job And he said he could have more too. I'll let you know the shop by pm then. Quote

castlestrike666 Posted December 9, 2008 Author Posted December 9, 2008 (edited) Say bye bye to this castle! I'll make a completely different one! This time without interior.. There are too many pieces in it you can't even see from the outside! The main things will remain (the look of the walls for instance), but there will be a lot changed! It will actually become a walled city this time. So stay tuned for a newer (and hopefully better) version! Kind Regards Kenny Edited December 19, 2008 by castlestrike666 Quote
