darkrebellion Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Hi, I am just looking at the FBTB.net forums and found this: Anakin´s Tree Well it is just and simply awesome in my opinion . It is a magnificent work that fusion both MINIs and vigs and also add minifigs . Again, it is not minre is just one find . Quote
Skelotic Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Weird I thought this was already posted but that is just how I am. I loved this moc due to how it is such an accurate representation. Besides, who can hate those minis. Quote
pr0visorak Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Looks cool Anything else to say besides that? It looks areally nice and I like how the Anakin at different stages of his life is with the ship that he was driving in that episode. Great find Quote
I Scream Clone Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Quite an accomplished creation I just feel like the creator could have taken it further to Anakin's death and possibly a Cloud city scene too. Very creative arrangement though. Quote
Tacitus Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 That's a really fun way to show the evolution of the character. Very original! Did the creator paint Anakin's hand gold, or was there a rare minifigure with a gold hand produced at some point? I don't remember that one. Quote

I just looked at the creator's comments and he said it came from a gold C3PO The mini ships are cool but the mini vignette at the top is my fave. I haven't seen anyone do this scene yet Edited November 26, 2008 by chris_austin Quote

I clicked onto that picture and the description mentioned that it was from the rare Gold C3PO. How lucky! Quote
NewRight Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Great set of photos found. I love the micro-scale space cruisers included with each figure. Quote
Guss Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 that's a very cool moc, very well done .. I don't know who did it, but great job to him ( or her ) ^^ Quote
JimBee Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Great find, this is very cool. I like how he used the gold hand for Anakin's mechanical arm, and swapped the CW head on the CW Anakin for the Ep. 3 head. I agree with ISC, he could have had a Death Star II vig with Luke and Vader. Quote
Razzer Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 (edited) That's really cool, but if you ask me the best ships for a model like this would be the scale of Vader's advanced Tie in the Death Star. Edited November 26, 2008 by Razzer Quote
Courleciel Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Very original ! The tree represents very wel the story of Anakin. Quote
eti Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Maybe I would like it if I was familiar with those movies. But I haven't seen Star Wars movies and I can't make head or tail of that MOC at all... Quote
Wout Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 A very nice moc. @ Eti: each leaf of the tree from down to above represents Anakin Skywalker in a different stage of his live. Some not so far away from eachother as the second is just some days after the first. At each leaf is also a minikit made from the vessel he flew on that time. I miss the burned Anakin/Vader at the end of Episode 3 and the restauration of Vader back to Anakin at the end of Episode 6, but it is very nice done. Quote
GIR 3691 Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 So I guess Roguebantha doesn't post here. That is one of his creations, and it is very impressive. I mentioned to him on Flickr that it would be cool to have ended with the funeral pyre from ROTJ, and he entertained the idea. Even so, it's very cool as is. Quote
