benny Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 After making of EH-500, i make another blue color EF-210. Quote
Legoking Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Great job putting this train into Lego. It must of been hard and must have taken a long time. Quote
djo Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 nice MOC. very detail. i like the way you put the wheels, it still can run on curved track right? Quote
Freddie Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 This one is just as fine as the last set of locomotives you've made. I do like the color scheme of it, using slopes to achieve the effect of diagonal stripes. But, like djo said, can it corner? If it can't, you could use trailer hinges (like those found on the freight truck and the coast guard 4x4) to articulate the inner axles. Quote
legotrainfan Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 First I thought you'd present a highspeed train. When I think of Japanese trains, I usually think of high speed trains. It's a very nice moc! It's very close to the original! Keep up that splendid work! Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Benny: this is a very nice creation. I don't think that I've ever seen a Japanese freight train before. You've certainly created a unique model, and did a great job building it with Lego. The colors look very good, and I like the overall design. Does the middle roof section open? This is really impressive. Blogged! Quote
BlueBard Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Very nice design, and pretty close to the original! Quote
benny Posted November 22, 2008 Author Posted November 22, 2008 nice MOC.very detail. i like the way you put the wheels, it still can run on curved track right? thanks!!! Yes, the wheels are not ease to make it move in curved track!!!! I changed the design for three times, no it can move in cured track now!!! However, i never test it with 9V motor!!! I will test its movement later!!!! Quote

It's very nice to see your train design. In fact, I am quite fond of your design. By the way, the reference picture is very useful for members whom are not familar with its design concept. Impressive, does the train comes with a engine? Quote

Zepher Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 (edited) Wonderfull design! The color scheme alone is fastastic, and there are so many different nuggets of design in there. It works very well and looks close to the orginal! Edited November 22, 2008 by Zepher Quote

Monki Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 Wow thats a cool looking train, very detailed and true to the original. I also like the way you used the sloping bricks to divide the colours. Quote
Brickadier General Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 I love what you have here and think you've done a really good job at capturing the look of the actual train. Nice use of SNOT techniques for the color scheme, as well as the jumper plate offsetting technique with the doors. All the little details make your model pleasing to the eye. Thanks for sharing your work. Quote
