ahhhhh some nice words there TT, but I, French Viking Warrior need to learn more !!!!

But hey! The Romans did know mead also! I don't remember the Latin word for it right know, but I was hard drunk of it during a Roman festival in a neighbour city of mine...

Anyway, thanks TT for the vocabulary!

Yeah the languages are astonishingly similar in appearance...I would hardly understand it though both by hearing in reading it...same counts for Swedish by the way.

Fest is a German word btw. means party/ festivity as in BrickFEST...

The German word for sword is also familiar, both to Danish and English (the word is "Schwert" in german)

Peace in Danish is also related to the German word "Frieden" = Fred

And Fjed finds it's similarity in the word "Feind". Though the Dutch word for enemy (can't spell it...^^
