Dr Lucky Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 The vikings can go drink their mead. Isn't that honey and water? Not quite. Mead is basically wine made from honey. It is made from water and honey (And spices), but it isn't mead without the fermentation process. Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 At least, they knew how to drink :D !!!!!!! Were they DUI when sailing their Drakkar ?????? Quote

But after several centries frementing techniques would have improved and whatever the pirates were driking would have been much strong than what the vikings were drinking :-D Quote
The Middleman Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 They also drank beer. All of their alcohol was home-brewed, too. Plus, they used drinking horns - a major advantage of which was that you could NOT put them down until the contents were drained. ;) Quote
DoubleT Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 He he BJ they did not drink beer, they drank Mj Quote

So as soon as they finished one they could immediately begin another. Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 A little insight on Viking drinking !!! Its a myth saying that Vikings were drunken savage beasts !!! While alcoholic beverages were important in Viking culture, the Norse peoples had an acute awareness of the perils and dangers of drunkenness: " Quote
