bub166 Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Ok, first of all, I know it's not perfect. But it did take time and that is what counts. The price is actually about right too. Anyway; http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=348502 Note the landscaping I tried to do, not often seen in Battle Packs. Also, I know it isn't the best view and that the cannon could be better. But LDD doesn't have the best options all the time, either. Quote
Johnny 5 Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 You need to deep link your photos, the folder is not public. Quote
bub166 Posted October 23, 2008 Author Posted October 23, 2008 That's what I tried, didn't work. Quote

DJ Force Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 (edited) Bla Whenever you think you can help someone with a tutorial, some moderator jumps to it and posts the tutorial the second you are writing it, just hits the "send" button a little earlier. So yeah, do what WhiteFang said! Edited October 23, 2008 by DJ Force Quote

Opps, I wonder who is the "some moderator"? But it said I couldn't use that type of file, soo... First of all, the deeplink teaches you how to deeplin from brickshelf. Since the particular image is uploaded into brickshelf, you should not be facing format problem. Instead, you should be copying the exact url from the image source and place it into the "Insert Image" function which has a sunset icon on top of your posting options. Refer to tutorial for exact steps. The next thing I will like to verify, what is the file type for your image which you have uploaded into Brickshelf. Make sure you have the right extention such as jpg, gif, bmp and etc. One of the example which I used, from K.D's LDD design. WhiteFang Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 But that is exactly what I did, and I used JPG. Now, your Brickshelf folder is public. I am able to access to your folder and extract this image out. First of all, this image is a png file and is not a jpg file. This is not the main concern as I am able to display this image. You will need to resize this photo into 640 x 480 and upload it again. The image dimensions is too large and will caused slow download. My concern is, could you please illustrate how did you try and upload the photo when there is a illustrated tutorial to demostrate clear paths on how to deeplink photos. Could you tell me your steps so I am able to guide you accordingly and discover the error within the process. Lastly, resize the photo please. If you have diffculty understanding it, please refer to this tutorial. Thanks. Below is my attempt of deeplinking your picture. bub166 Posted October 24, 2008 Author Posted October 24, 2008 and it worked ^^ nice battle pack! what kind of weapon is the "big thing" on the ground ? is that a big gun ? Thanks! And it was supposed to be a cannon, but I couldn't think of any other way to do it. I remembered seeing something similar, so I tried it and ended up with... Well, not much of a Castle cannon, but it would work perfectly for the Republic or Empire. Now for what I did; I looked at the tutorial, I saved it as JPG, (no clue why it went up as png) I went to Brickshelf, made my account, (forgot my old one) uploaded it, copied the URL, logged in to Eurobricks, went to Castle forums, made a new thread, clicked on Insert Image, and pasted the URL where it wanted it. I thought I did it right, but I guess not. Quote
