Klaus-Dieter Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Hello everybody! Yesterday forenoon I designed a Western stage coach with LDD. Here is the result: Stage Coach Ambush Pieces: 278 Price: 36,88 Euros Mr. Silver and his wife are on their trip through the big dessert with the stage coach. Suddenly bandit Miller and companion jump out of their hideout: "Hands up!" they shout to the coachman. Will Mr. Silver and his wife manage to escape - and with it safe the treasure? Everything lays in your hands! This set includes the stage coach, coachman, Mr. Silver, his wife, bandit Miller and his companion, a skeletton, two horses and a lot of other nice accessory. The bandits own a wheel gun, too: You can open the roof of the stage cach in order to look and play inside: More pics can be found at my BS folder (when public). Sorry, but - like you surely notice - there are no wheels at the coach and the wheel gun since Factory regrettably doesn't offer them. Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter Quote
Zorro Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 looks fine, but I would use "real" lego horses. Quote
Skinny Boy Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 looks fine, but I would use "real" lego horses. Its LDD. And nice stagecoach. Its a shame theres no wheels though. Have you tried giving the blue jacketed bandit white arms. I always liked that torso better as a vest. Quote
Guss Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 wow , it's hard to make this kind of moc with LDD, good job! Quote

Klaus-Dieter Posted September 26, 2008 Author Posted September 26, 2008 (edited) Thank you all very much for your nice comments! looks fine, but I would use "real" lego horses. Regrettably LDD doesn't offer "real" Lego horses, zorro3999, since there is only a very limited selection of bricks ( ). Its LDD. And nice stagecoach. Its a shame theres no wheels though. Have you tried giving the blue jacketed bandit white arms. I always liked that torso better as a vest. Yes, I totally agree with you, Skinny Boy. It's really a pity that TLG does limit the selection of bricks available for PAB and LDD. I don't understand why they don't offer all (not licensed) bricks ( ) - but supposably that would be too expensive for them and us customers then. And btw: I tried to change the arms. But you can't change parts of the torso in LDD. Wow! It's hard to make things such as western in LDD, nice job! wow , it's hard to make this kind of moc with LDD, good job! Thanks, Guss and samthelegoman1! I totally agree with you that - because of the very limited number of bricks - it's sometimes really difficult to design some Western MOCs with LDD. I already tried some Western buildings with LDD: Nicolas' Saloon Court House Legoredo Train Station Western Street Scene Max's General Store Some of them were better, some were not that good. But all in all I think that when you look at all the bricks available at the moment (not only in PAB and LDD but in general) there would be enough possibilities for a new Western theme or at least some Factory Western sets. So let's hope! Klaus-Dieter Edited September 26, 2008 by Klaus-Dieter Quote
