Some teaser pics for a mighty small fishing boat I have finished, but I am having trouble photographing. Here are some teasers to give an idea of the ship. :pir_laugh2: Enjoy.

I hope that describes why. :pir-classic:

Oh right ... but , what kind of troubles ? *curious is the guss*

My poster board is not large enough for the approximately 20 inch boat. The weather is rather dreary here as well so I can't go outside. My lamps also don't cover about 40 square inches of light evenly. So many things. I have to other MOCs that have been sitting on my desk for a rather long time and are small. Perhaps I could photograph those. :pir-hmpf_bad:

I just can't stop the practical jokes. :pir_laugh2: *tease*

Building a fishing boat is something I'm planning for a while now.

I'm awaiting the pictures of this MOC with great anticipations NewRight.

Let's hope the result is as good as the teaser pics :pir-tongue:

Did you consider building it in MLCAD? Because that'sa good way for us to see the whole ship. Anyway, a good name and I look foward to seeing the full ship.

What do you mean? When it's finnished?
Or when I finish photographing it was more what I was getting at with that post. I think I have all the details I need though. I really hope people like the rear of it since that is what I spent the most time and technique building. Edited by NewRight

This "little" ship looks good from the small amount we have seen.

20 inches long, is a decent size indeed. I will look forward to the end result :pir-classic:

"The out of focus background" real does add to the mystery!

Blurry and Fuzzy is correct!

No worries. I look foward to seeing it. :pir-classic:

So am I, I am considering building my first ship MOC myself and am looking to steal/rob/spy/apprehend some inspiration regarding Hull Use.

Can anyone tell me how much hull pieces are good to build a somewhat realistic-loking ship? (Im thinking of 3 decks, 1 storage +2 gun decks, wherefrom 1 open...it would become a French ship, class yet to be determined)

This would be my first one you see, I have more than 10 spares but building longer than 4 or 5 would made it look more like a battering ram, or not??? Most MOCs ive seen dont state how much hulls they used.

Thanks in advance

No 4 or 5 centre sections would look about right. But is this really the best place to seek advice on building a ship? I think you would get more attention starting a new thread asking for ship building advice. But if I were you, I would go withabout 4 or 5 depending on the class.
