It has been a while since I last shared an update, but I’d like to take a moment to present my Peterbilt 379 truck, some of you may already be familiar with it 🙂

I’ve also submitted this model to LEGO Ideas, feel free to support it if you like it!:

I’ll be sharing some work-in-progress photos soon, so stay tuned!

The Peterbilt truck has front suspension, and a little bit flexible axles at the back (connected by rubber pieces at some points)
Both back axles are connected to a working fake 6-inline engine with moving pistons.
There is no HOG but the steering works with the steering wheel.

I also started with building the truck in real life already, currently gathering all the parts. I decided to build it red, because some important parts, where not yet avaliable in dark red.

I am sorely tempted to feature this topic already, but I'll hold off until there's a physical build. The design looks superb though. The way you made the messy looking bed sheets is chefs kiss (insert imaginary chefs kiss Lego emoji here). It's only a shame that we probably wouldn't get all those lovely chrome pieces. I've wanted a serious successor to the model team Black Cat for so long! Looking forward to seeing what technical functions it has. It looks as though you have suspension and steering. Is there a HOG?

Thank you so much!!

I hope this counts as a better presentation, otherwise let me now :D

Yes, much better now.
I will frontpage the topic shortly.

Looking forward seeing the truck built in real life.

Absolutely gorgeous - king of the haulers in the U.S.
I had to smile when our recent World Cup guests were floored by all the variation in the trucks parked at Buc-ee's   If there were ever a way to get all the chrome parts I would build one in black immediately.  Awesome work!
