[MOC] Mechatech Supply Ship

Well, as the old saying goes. When you need him the most he returns with a new model:). 

 

This time I will show my first attempt at creating this type of vehicle:).

 

Let's get drums playing :).

 

Here is the Mechatech Supply Ship. My first boat/ship model:). 

 

This model was inspired by the 8839:).

 

Functions:). 

 

Independent twin V6 Engines 12 Cylinders in total connected to rear propellers and powered by a pair of hidden wheels:). 

Boom lift.

Boom 2nd section. 

Superstructure rotation. 

HOG Rear Wheel Steering with turning propellers. 

Both boom functions are operated by the cranks on the chassis. The boom functions pass the turntable by using clever coaxial setup which is rare in modern technic sets. Last seen in the 42070 6x6 Tow Truck in 2017 over 9 years ago:).

 

You can fill the cargo bed with your own cargo:).

Here is a new look of my current Mechatech Lineup plus a sneak peak of my newest Mechatech model which I designed while I was on a little break from eurobricks. I'm now currently working on the 3d model and the instructions for the new model:).
